We loved the Mill Bay Thrifty Foods store? The staff was welcoming and friendly ???? The customers from the community were... friendly as well... Unbelievable how over priced this store is. For example, their cherries were over $6. A pound where Country Grocery was $3.plus... a pound. I went in with a list and left with one item that I had to have. Bought the other items at Country grocery andCostco. I would love yo support local but won't stand for gouging. Read more
I'd like to thank the employees of this Thrifty Foods. My 80 year old dad has gushed on the phone for 30mins about a lovely lady... who helped him find hot chocolate mix and then talked to him in length about various hot chocolates. This is a fantastic Thrifties. They have specialty foods, a bulk section, ready to eat sections and a large frozen section.... There is a large floral section and they have a large number of tills so they can provide for high volume transactions. Thewhole design is well laid out and easy to access. There is plenty of parking and the bus stop if less than 100 meters from thefront door. Read more
I had a great experience at this thrifty food location. I am not from this area, but, a regular visitor. I was very impressed... with the customer service and my cashier was great. I am sorry that I did not get her name but next time I will get moredetails. This is definitely a nice local grocery store option. I will be going back again for sure. Read more
