Updated: Still Awesome. Come during Happy Hour 3:30p-5:30p Found the genuine article - Or "Hon-mono" in Japanese sushi spots.... First, the miso soup was the best I have had in Mill Creek. Appetizer was a generous amount of beautifully crisp agedashi tofuswimming in a delicate broth. As for my entree... Excellent quality rice, salmon belly sashimi, lemon kissed ikura and avocadoon my chirashi. Read more

Staff were very friendly and food was great. They also gave dessert on the house for my birthday unexpectedly, very kind of... them! Read more

Two things stood out for me: price and variety. Having lived in Seattle for 6 years, I was expecting a $80-$100 check but was... pleasantly surprised that our dinner cost roughly half of that. The fish were fresh, the chef is talented and the serving staffwere gracious. Will definitely go again! Read more

Serving fresh and light courses with a large selection of rolls for all your needs. The sashimi dinner was delicious, the wakame... salad refreshing, and the yakisoba light, a bit too light for my taste. The noodles were falling apart at the end. If this isyour first time here, stick to the sushi and sashimi. Read more

I have been to Japan a lot and hunting for good sushi for my whole life. This restaurant did a really good job on picking good... quality fish and ingredients. Most places in Us don?t even sale blue fin tuna but this place does. Their fish is so fresh andtasty. Totally recommend! Read more

There was something about our dining experience that we really couldn?t pinpoint. As this is our third time here and the vibe... was off. Normally when you go to any Japanese restaurant you are greeted with a hello in Japanese and a good bye when you leave. However this wasn?t the case and maybe attributed to the staff being primarily Mandarin speaking. The other thing I want tospeak about is level setting your sushi expectations when you come here. If you?re into more gimmicky rolls with cream cheesethen MoMo is a place for you. Certain there?s nothing wrong and there?s a place for this style of sushi. Consequently, I madethe flawed mistake of ordering a Toro nigiri. I just came back from vacationing in Hawaii and was craving Toro. To my surpriseit was ok. The fish did melt in your mouth and do it?s job but didn?t hit the same. And to why it was ok? One considerationwhen you start driving deeper into eating sushi is the length of the fish cut to rice ratio. This was most certain off as thefish overwhelmed the rice and stretched inches. Another thing is serving it with a higher grain of rice along with bettervinegar. This would truly elevate this simple looking dish into something tasty. Read more
