We purchased a deal dining at the Sushi Spott. When we walked in, the vibe was very typical American Japanese restaurant... They... actually featured a huge selections of Westernized rolls, among other dishes like teriyaki, salad, etc. The nigiri and sashimiwere pricy? We ordered several different rolls and some nigiri and sashimi, thinking once we used the deal and this is overwith? Until the food arrived! Wow! The seared salmon nigiri and hamachi were so well made and the fish was of great quality! TheBTS roll was simply overwhelming, but the orange and the spicy tuna roll were big hits! Preface: I can only recommend this place if you have the Groupon. At full price it's a hard pass, with the Groupon, it's a... fairly good deal. The food tastes good and the portions on the maki rolls are good. The nagiri and sashimi are both good, butvery expensive compared to other local sushi restaurants of the same quality. Sushi Spott is my family's favorite sushi restaurant. We typically order the Lemon Roll, Rainbow Roll, Honolulu Roll, Miami... Heat, Asian Fusion, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Salmon or Ahi Poke Salad. The food never disappoints and the service is consistentlygood, which is why we feel this little gem in Mill Creek has so many repeat customers. The mastermind of this successful "SushiSpott" is Charles, the owner. He has a humble personality and friendly customer service and he is always looking for new menuideas and ways to improve his restaurant.
