I have been waiting for a good salad place in Marin.... It definately had its room for improvements but just thankful to have a... place to get a variety of large salads close to home. The issues that could improve are really about the consistancy (sometimesthe portions are smaller or bigger or not as balanced), quality of ingredients (brown avocados or dried precut veggies) and all"crispy" options like the cauliflower are cold and not crispy preservation of the ingredients. These are all very difficult toacheive since they are very crowded and deliver a high volume of food. Read more
I felt the liberal leaving my body when I saw I had to pay extra for their employee's benefits as if the 16 dollar seasonal... salad wouldn't have covered the cost. Not going back, good but way too pricey. Read more

Visiting MIXT in Mill Valley for the first time tonight. The style of the place immediately feels relaxing, clean, and a nice... place to sit. It's located on an intersection, but they've done a great job of shielding you from noise and the view of thetraffic when you are there. I didn't have to wait long before being served. I ordered a BEETNIK salad, which was made in frontof me in really quick time, and every ingredient looked super fresh. I took a seat outside and enjoyed the evening sun, an acup of water. Despite intending on eating half and taking half home (it was a generous portion), I ate the whole salad as itwas so delicious. They are dog friendly, with a cut dog bowl and water outside on the patio. Read more

If you're in the mood for a mixed salad, this is a great place to go, or order ahead. I'd do a lunch takeout, and bring your... drink of choice to a nearby park to enjoy the generous, delicious mixed salad in a pleasant environment, hopefully in goodcompany.
