The food is actually great, and just as I?m being honest regarding the food I?ll be honest regarding the person that runs the... place. She may be a racist or just scared of black people. I?m not entirely sure. I?ve gone to the restaurant several times overthe years, usually after I?ve hiked or driven up mt. Tam and it always seems as though she was reluctant or not too happy totake my order. The most recent time was July 3rd last week. A friend and I actually wanted to dine in and asked for the waittime. The woman told us she didn?t know how long, so I looked around a saw at least a few open seats for 2 and asked again; samereply. ?I don?t know?. Then she abruptly put us on hold to take a phone call. After a few minutes she was done and I asked aboutthe wait time for take out. She hesitated and said maybe 20 minutes. So we ordered food and waited outside talking. About 3-5minutes goes by and a group of 5-6 people (not black people) walk up standing behind us. I tell them ?we aren?t in line, goahead?. So they walk in and about time our food is ready they?re all seated. I initially thought to myself? ?well maybe theycalled to reserve seating?. But that thought was quickly disregarded when I remembered they were actually going to wait behindus outside while we were talking in absolutely no line formation posture. That?s typically not the behavior of folks who havereserved seating at a restaurant. So I tell this story for people like me that feel these things are important, I?m not tellingthis story in an attempt to cause a rebellion against the woman?s restaurant. I?m simply telling the story for people like methat will visit this restaurant in the future. It?s important to know what kind of people you are interacting with or supportingin this case, so you can make a choice for yourself if you?d like to continue. Had a great impromptu dinner here two nights ago and had to come back for lunch today because it was so good the first time! ... I'm basic so I got the Chicken Pad Thai and Thai iced tea...got to try the staples before you branch out you know? Largeportions, fair price and amazing flavors. Love the bits of tofu and citrus flavor pops, plus the noodles were cooked perfectly!Definitely recommend!!! Read more
This place has an amazing customer service and Thai food that is hard to find elsewhere. We joined with a large group of about... 17 people. The place looked small, but they were very accommodating, and offered to move around tables to get us in. While wewere waiting for our food, a child from our party broke a glass, and cut his finger. The host was very concerned and offeredtheir first aid kit. The food was prepared very quickly considering the large party, and the quality was top notch. I orderedthe Pad Thai with chicken, which was very yummy! We were there to celebrate my niece's bday, and asked the host if it was okayfor us to bring a cake from the WholeFoods next door. They kindly agreed, and even offered to bring us plates and utensils foreveryone! The host and the kitchen staff came out and sing Happy Birthday with us. They also brought out a free dessert for myniece. Given the awesome experience, we decided to leave an additional cash tip on the table, even though a gratuity charge hadalready been added to the check. We were surprised when the server came out running to return the cash, explaining gratuity hadalready been paid, but we explained the cash tip was intentional. Great people! That has been my standard local Thai take out for years. Even before ownership changed. Food is usually really good. Last night... was a disaster and hopefully an anomaly. I waited over an hour for food even though the order told me 20 Minutes. Service wasoverwhelmed but nice as normal. Glad to see their business is doing well but needs to fix their ordering systems and kitchencapacity. Read more

The food and service was excellent. I enjoyed the ambiance, it was relaxing and cozy. I had the pad see ew, it was yummy.
Came to Wholefoods next door and realized that this place has become My Thai. Ordered my lunch togo -- Pad Gra-Tiem (Pepper &... Garlic) with chicken, it comes with rice but I opted for purple rice which costs $1 more, the lunch set me back for $15+ tax.Food was fine, somehow on the lighter side? I kind of wish it was heavier and spicier (my bad for not requesting spicy, was toohungry...) Anyway. So happy that we still have another Thai option here! --- For now it's CASH ONLY though. Easily the best Thai place in the area. Dog friendly patio seating
