Meh, fine. The good — Great service. Chips excellent. Salsa pretty good, too heavy on oregano, not hot enough. Chili relleno... pretty good as was the sweet corn cake. The bad — The food came out scary fast… I’m talking like less than 5 minutes afterordering for entrees - not made to order it seems. The fajitas were meh - chicken dry. Beans and rice fine not great. Guac alsojust fine. But for a $70 tab we left feeling disappointed and like the food was overpriced for the quality. Won’t return eventho our waiter David was very nice and good at his job. Read more
Great Mexican food!! Large portions, fresh, and delicious! Many choices with lots of combinations. Service is wonderful and very... attentive. Very large indoor or outdoor seating areas with several spaces that could be used for private parties. Great forDates or Families. There are plenty of photos and reviews that I am posting to share why I stop in at The Cantina. It is perfectly situated on... East Blithedale Ave where I spend a lot of time hiking and running errands. We often hike the Summit Trailhead, then dog (andcar) wash across the street before stopping in for a late afternoon snack . Our dogs love soaking in the sun sitting at one ofthe parking lot tables drying off after a bath while I love enjoying the BLACKBERRY MARGARITA. It is deliciously deceptive as acocktail. The staff is attentive, dog friendly and the food match the laid back Cali cantina experience. And if you sit at atable near the back entry to the Sloat Garden Center, you may notice a few resident hummingbirds buzzing around the planters. Read more

Fantastic food, ambience and feel. The place is not too far from the Golden gate Bridge and it was not crowded at all on a... weekday for lunch. The food portions are just right and the cocktails are also great. There is ample amount of parking and it'skid-friendly. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy Mexican food. Read more
