We walked in right at 9pm on a Saturday night. The air system was so loud, could not hear to order very well. They quit... serving fountain drinks. Only drink choice was tea and lemonade. I hate tea. Tam is excellent. Her team is top notch. The tables were being tended to as guests were coming and going. Tam ensured her team... knew how many people was coming in the door at all times. From the time we walked in she welcome me and my guests in. She isvery knowledgeable of her menu. Came to our table to see if we were ok and satisfied with our meal. This was my 3rd and final attempt with Huey Magoos. First 2x the tenders were delicious! The only thing was the chips were all... crumbs. So I decide to give it one more shot with the chips. So, it was literally right before closing. I asked the order takerif they were cooking strips to order this late. She said yes. When I received my food I waited awhile so I assumed that's why ittook a little longer. When I checked my food the chips were perfect but the tenders were like nuggets and they were cold! Iasked her why my tenders looked like that she said they had already turned the fryers off. I did ask if they would be fresh andif she had said no I wouldn't have ordered and would not have been upset. But what I received and what I paid for it wasunacceptable. Great chicken tender spot that competes with the other ?Z? chicken restaurant. Nice selection of preparation methods and... sauces. Portions are very generous. I had a 5 piece and my wife had a wrap. Presentation is nice and the food delicious. Friesare a little too salty but probably to most people liking. Good selection of drinks including s watermelon ice tea. I?ve seen these places around in other towns but 2021 it?s new to Milledgeville. Their menu is similar to a restaurant two... traffic lights south, but that?s where the similarities end. I ordered a classic three tender meal. The pricing was adequate forthe area however the quality of the food was much better than competition. I ordered curbside and staff was prompt to bringcorrect order. They?re signature Magoo dipping sauce it is OK however I prefer there honey mustard. It reminds me of honeymustard salad dressing from Steak ?n Ale. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for an alternative to that Zbird. Read more
