Shure it's a bit touristy, but it's definitely different. Nicely decorated and genuinely good food which represents the region... (Bavaria / Switzerland). Had a tasty meal and excellent, friendly service. Would certainly return. Read more

The Jaeger Schnitzel was delish, and the asparagus side with it was super yum. You have to get the fried swiss cheese sticks as... an appetizer. Might be the most unique and tasty fried cheese appetizer I've ever had. Make sure you try the mac 'n cheese aswell. So unique. Oh, and the apple strudel....Good God the apple strudel. Simply....Superb! Read more

Swiss inspired meals made with the 2019 world champion of cheese. Their local made Swiss cheese in the fondue for 2 is amazing... to say the least. Great food and next to a local meat and cheese market which has many tasty treats. Read more

Chalet in the Valley was a great restaurant! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was quaint. We enjoyed walking the grounds... and seeing the goats before we ate and learning the history of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend it! Read more

The atmosphere was nice and place clean and table areas by the window to few the landscape. The baby Swiss fondue was tasty and... the soup was also good. Or server Brian was very kind and did all he could to make sure we enjoyed the food. The Germanchocolate cake is tasty. Read more

Came here for our anniversary while staying in town. We had the fondue for an appetizer and I had the beef brisket with apples... and cold potato salad. Everything was great! We had a beautiful view and the ambience was unique. There looked like there was abalcony but there was a sign on the door saying not to go out. Read more

The last time we were in the area this restaurant was not open (off season) but has since re-opened for the season so we decided... to give it a try. It is very pretty building and popular with tourists as well as local Amish families. The restaurant is knownfor their Austrian and Swedish fare. We ordered the cheese fondue for starters and it has a combination of cheeses, wine andSherry. Everybody seemed to enjoy it. They even will give you the fondue recipe if you ask. We had the perogies for dinnerswould definitely order them again. For those who want salad or burgers they were on the menu as well. Read more
