You got to try this place out. Verrryy expensive but my goodness worth it.

The food is a little pricey for things you probably wouldn't pay that much for. Like a waffle. BUT it is worth every penny.... Everything I've had here has been incredible. Favorite thing is on the juniper lounge from 3 to 5 the Baked Brie. Get it! Beenback here 3 separate times from an hour and half away just for that. Had breakfast here recently (6/11/22/), had the waffle andthe chefs grilled cheese. Both just incredible. The flavors the chef is able to incorporate into all the dishes aren't somethingyou'll easily find anywhere else. This restaurant is very relaxing. We arrived 15 mins early for our reservation and was told we would have to wait, even though... there were only 3 tables filled. The hostest was our waitress, and could have been much friendlier, almost like we were here forher, not her to help us. Our food was just ok. I would have liked more options on the menu. I had the duck, which I did notcare, and the sides were not good either. The portion was pathetic. My husband had the lamb... delicious. However, the foodneeded to be seasoned. We were not the only table who asked for salt, but the waitress was clearly not happy we asked. Probablywould not dine here again, for the food for the price point was not on point at all. We had a phenomenal three course (plus dessert) anniversary dinner and cocktails at Tarragon. I wish I took pictures! Definitely... book a table ahead of time. Dress code is business casual - not too fancy but definitely not a shorts and tee kind of place :)Their website has their menu if you’d like to check out what’s available for each course. A quaint environment nestled back on 80+ acres of land and wildlife. Look out the window and see multiple birdfeeders and... birds. Appetizers were good. Be careful if you're planning dinner here on Sunday and prefer and alcoholic beverages as they arenot licensed on Sunday. The mushroom miso soup was unique and excellent. Hard to tell in these pictures, but where you see a bird house, exists a hotel room with sliding glass doors to your own private... balcony or patio. Very romantic place set in the woods. These are pictures of the honey combs, rooms built into the hillside,they also have 2 cabins, and a small hotel. Good place to escape the city and enjoy the woods peace and quiet. There were somesheep roaming around. The restaurant is charming but quit expensive. Read more
