I thought the atmosphere was nice. I really enjoyed our server. She was super friendly and attentive. She exaggerated a bit... though about how awesome every single thing is on the menu though. Which makes her a great saleswoman I guess lol. I reallyenjoyed the spinach dip. I think it was my favorite dinner type item. The broccoli soup was overcooked and burnt tasting. Itcame out like a tan brownish color so I was disappointed by that. The alcoholic beverages tasted like juice and not much else inthem. The shrimp and scallop au gratin was a disaster ????. Drownnnning in salty cheese sauce that was not good at all. Toppedwith more unnecessary cheese overload. It was gross. It was like cheese soup with some seafood in it. I took all the seafood outand wiped it off with a napkin to eat it. The apple pie though!!!!!!! The best!!! And I didn't even get a picture of it. Read more
Decent food and the bartender who was our waitress excellent at getting our food out quickly with a great personality. Salad... was pricey but I would go back again. Only suggestion is cut up the vegetables in the salad. I got huge slices of onion. Read more
We had a really great experience at Max's for a co-birthday dinner with 12 people last week. Angelina was a rock star server and... accommodated us when we asked to move the party outside to the deck. Drinks took a little while because she had to go the wholeway downstairs to get them but the food was delicious and decently priced for what you get. A few of us went downstairs to theactual bar for dessert drinks and really enjoyed chatting with the bartender, Zach. Overall, we had a really great experienceand look forward to visiting again. Ate there tonight. Slow service. Server was very nice but the food took too long. We ordered a burger and quesadillas. They... gave me seven, yes seven chips. I asked for more. The server said 75 cents. I counted my chips for her. She gave me seven,yes seven more. I didn't pay 75 cents. Food was good. $5 for a Blue Moon draft. Maybe we'll go back. I will not order thechips. Food was great and the bartender that took care of me was awesome. Really the only reason I'm giving it a four star is because... they have a bit of a fly problem. But I was just passing through town and all the locals told me to go here. Absolutely nocomplaints on the food it was great! Read more
Limited and cramped parking in the back sharpens the driving skills of patrons visiting this establishment. The decor is warm... and inviting and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The large menu has a bit of everything from Mexican, Asian and Italianinspired dishes to standard burgers and fries. There's a seafood page along with a nice salad selection. I had the MangoHabanero Chicken with Fire Roasted Corn and was surprised that the sauce on the chicken was a lot spicier than I expected.Fortunately, the warmed Double Fudge Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream cooled things off a bit. All in all, though, an excellentmeal at a reasonable cost. I did note that the basic sound level seemed louder than usual. Perhaps the stacked stone wallcovering reflects sound rather than absorbing it. Also, the honking train that rolled by during the meal made conversationimpossible for a minute or two. Will definitely return as there were other items on the extensive menu that seemed equallyenticing. Read more

I had the absolute BEST experience at Max’s. The Peri Peri Chicken is 1,000% worth it. The chicken was so moist and was... incredibly flavorful. The atmosphere is great. The owner came to our table and made us feel like family! Thanks for such anamazing experience! Read more
