We enjoy eating lunch and dinner at The Swing. The atmosphere and food are great. The menu has a little something for everyone... and reasonably priced too. We have never had a bad meal. My wife loves the Wisconsin chicken and I like their chicken parmesan,among many other dishes. I would highly recommend The Swing. Read more
Went here last evening for what I thought was going to be a good supper. Well disappointment followed quickly. Don't order the... salmon! First off it is NOT FRESH! The salmon was frozen and not wild caught. It was supposed to be grilled but it tasted likeit was steamed in a microwave. It was chewy and way over cooked. Absolutely NOT HOW SALMON SHOULD BE SERVED. This is one of the best restaurants in the area. I thoroughly enjoy the food and love sitting at the bar. The golf course is... very beautiful. The setting of this course, and restaurant is in the Lykens Valley, and is one of my favorite places I haveever visited. Read more
Stayed three days for a play and stay at Lykens Valley golf course. Kudos to Chad Kirk the club Pro who was more than generous... and accommodating with our group of friends. Nothing was to problematic and everything was handled to our satisfaction. TheSwing restaurant at the golf course was also awesome with a nice variety of menu items all of which were very good andreasonable in price.There was inside dinning or outside dinning with a beautiful view the golf course which made the dinningexperience great. The staff was pleasant, friendly and eager the make any changes in our meal requests. Our group has stayedand played at Lykens Valley in the past and have never been disappointed. Kudos to all. I had an amazing time and the food was excellent. The staff extremely friendly, professional and treated this transgender... women in an awesome way . I would rate this a five star dinning experience. I am a professional chef with decades ofexperience . In my professional view its equal to the finest Golf Clubs in America! We were out to Tobias lake and stopped here for lunch on our way home. The environment was very nice and it seems like they are... trying to get into the local and off-brand beers throughout the country. The server good and attentive and they brought outappetizers out very quick (under 10 min). Environment was clean and conducive to sit down and enjoy our meals. The crab dip wasok, it had a very strong crab taste, but not bad overall. The new England clam chowder tasted delicious but was watery onconsistency. The hamburger was standard, nothing special. I enjoyed the French fries, they were fresh and the seasons they usemade them taste good. The cranberry salad was standard, nothing unique. The Buffalo chicken sandwich did not have enough sauce.The fish and chips, the fish tasted excellent and flaked off nicely. The lemon and blueberry marzipan cake was delicious. Asfar as the prices, the typical sandwich plate ranged from $8.00-20.00 and dinner was $20.00 and up. If we would be in the areaagain, we would probably go here. My family celebrated Thanksgiving dinner today at Swing. I contacted to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal with added off the... menu appetizers.
