I will say we're glad to have stopped in for lunch at Hellas. 1st time experience here...good service from start to finish,... tasty food & drinks. There was a bit of a wait for food but our waitress & the food was wonderful so no complaints. Junk box,pool tables, an arcade game & tvs around made this a sweet place for all ages. Only reason I gave 4 stars was due to the chairs!Our bums weren't happy sitting on such hardwood & waiting for our food. So I'd recommend cushions or different chairs that aremore comfortable for the time period of sitting & waiting to truly enjoy the tasty food at Hellas. See pics shared Read more

Booked a reservation for 8 for Mother's Day 2022. Seated right away. Waitress came right away. Put drink order in. Took... 20-25 minutes to get drinks . Ordered food when drinks came . Took about 35 minutes to get salad and soups ( my sister's saladhad tomato and onion .. mine had none lol ) and ....in the meantime .... we ran out of drinks and our waitress wasn't around forus to order refills . Crabcake dinner was excellent even though it was expensive but worth it! I live in NC but home state is MD been 2 years since I... had genuine good ole MD real crabcakes. I bought a big bowl of cream crab it was good but needed more sherry and old bay. Read more

The food was great. We had the flaming cheese, a salad, and a gyro. BUT the atmosphere is more focused on the bar with the TVs... and the loud modern music. Also the wait to get your food is just a bit too long. Overall a good experience though. Read more

This place was busy so service was slightly slow but everyone was friendly and the food was great!!!! Been to a few Greek... restaurants in the area and this probably the best. Moussaka was amazing!! Try it! Sliders and fries were perfect. French onionsoup was there best I've had in a long time. Great job, Hellas! Read more

We just stopped by to try this place for lunch. Very pleased with our meal! We were seated in the bar/lounge area and Ordered 2... appetizers, (one being the Tzaiki and pita) a cup of the cream of crab soup and a gyro. Husband said the gyro was absolutelydelicious, best he has had in md so far, and the soup was great! We did have to wait for what felt like awhile for our food(definitely over 20 mins), and all the food came together. There was no reason the appetizers could not have come out sooner orright away for the pita. There seemed to be only two waiters servicing the whole area who were both extremely friendly andwonderful, but instead of having one assigned to our table they both waited on our table which got a little confusing at timesas they didn?t seem to communicate with eachother and we would get asked the same questions twice in a row. The venue has veryclearly been recently updated and looked fabulous! Still needs a few finishing touches and new tables and chairs, but otherwisewas beautifully done inside. They did a great time also observing ?covid? guidelines, Separating tables, wearing masks, andoffering more out door seating options. Overall a good experience and we would go back again. They had a wide variety on themenu and as far as authenticity in the greek food, it was certainly the best we have had around.
