Me and my husband tried this place for the first time yesterday. Since the reviews were very good, we were expecting it to be... really good. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent but we were kindadisappointed and the food wasn?t amazing. Went here after a museum exhibit opening with my mom and brother and my goodness the food was amazing! It was so busy today and... for good reason, the portions are huge and the service was wonderful! Highly recommend the bubble tea slush and deep fried creamcheese wontons. I was so full from those two things I had to take my combo home with me LOL the women running tables todayapologized probably 3-4 times for ?terrible service? but for food like that and considering how many takeout orders were comingand going it was worth the wait. Such amazing food and friendly staff. The portion sizes are huge. We get the dinner for 4 and it will last us days. The chow... mein is amazing, the sweet and sour pork and ginger beef have an amazing crunch while being covered in a full flavor sauce, thedried ribs are so crunchy with lots of meat. We had pick up last night. We spent 80 some dollars on food for my family of 4. Portions were big - but a few things -- Dry... ribs were so hard we couldn't even bite into --- could not even eat. Again I think these were re deep fried . Uneatable...still in fridge Chicken balls-- why are the so big ... ??? Like a pool ball... ???????????happy to see real chicken ... Thebeef in the beef and broccoli was pale grey in colour and did not look or taste like beef. The beef was slimy with no flavour. Added spice and refried the beef --- not sure what was wrong with it ?? Ginger beef -- not sure how it is cooked ? It was likecrispy burnt .... the texture was horrible. I think it was over deep fried and just soaked in sauce. Manageable to eat bc wewere hungry lack of flavour Sweet and Sour Pork was good - so we fought over that. Rice was good-- could use a bit moreflavour . Eatable Shanghai Noodles were very bland. But eatable. I don't mind paying for quality and I think there could bebetter if there was some monitoring in the food going out. Very disappointed. Heard good raves on this restaurant. Read more
Great Chinese food. Was delicious!! Offers take out during covid. Can go in to order and wait in your vehicle and they bring... your order out to you. Looks like it would be nice to dine in when covid restrictions lifted. The food portions are hot andfresh and very generous. Read more
