Great restaurant for American food, but stick with the American food they serve. We got a 12? pizza, a grilled cheese panini,... mozzarella sticks, a Spinach Strawberry salad, a Veggie Burger, and the chocolate mousse. The mozzarella sticks weren?tanything special, they seem pretty similar to ones you could get at a grocery store. The pizza was pretty good. It had lots ofcheese and a well cooked crust, but the size wasn?t enough for 4 people. The salad and burger were where they shone through.The salad was absolute sublime! The strawberrries and nuts paired extremely well their ?Vidalia Onion? dressing, and they cookedthe eggs perfectly. You wouldn?t think to combine the ingredients they did, but it was truly amazing. We ate in the covered, screened in porch. The service was friendly and the food delicious. We had the cowboy poutine and drinks... as starters, lobster mac and cheese, lobster quesadilla, marinara sauce and noodles, and burgers for mains. Everything wassolidly what you would expect. Went here for take out after a long hot day of climbing Katahdin. They were super busy but the food came out hot and fresh,... everything tasted like it came from scratch. They even gave us a sauce for the fries that was awesome! The wait was a littlelong, but they had a sign at front saying they were understaffed(who isn?t these days), warning guests who might be in a rush,so it wasn?t an issue. Read more

The waitresses were very pleasant. However our meals took over an hour to arrive with only 2 parties in the dining hall. The... meals did not arrive at the same time either so in order to be polite some of us ate our meals cold. Of the three people whoordered burgers no ones was cooked correctly. Mine was over cook and the others were very undercooked. They actually forgot tomake my girlfriends burger which then took another 20 minuets to get to the table undercooked. 2 stars are for the waitresseswho were very nice and very apologetic. Read more
