We catered a family event at our home for 15 people and ordered 5 items which were delivered promptly at the time we requested.... More than enough food for everyone and it was delicious! The staff was so welcoming and pleasant! Although it is a smaller space and most people got their pies/slices to go, there was... plenty of seating for my family of 5. We ordered a few slices that were everything that I look for in pizza: Thin, crispycrust, fresh sauce (I could be wrong but it tasted like San Marzano tomatoes ????), with a healthy amount of cheese. Due topreferences, I wasn't to pleased with the Grandma that we ordered. The crust was overly thick and little sauce (still greatsauce, omg!) was used. So if you DO like thicker crust, this particular pie is for you! ???? Definitely coming here again whentraveling that way again. Hope this helps! Read more
Had a work event in North Brunswick & they provided pizza from Maria's. It was so good when I went back the 2nd day I ordered &... picked up to bring home to Newark. I will stop here anytime I'm in the area. Read more
We are from out of town and saw a brochure for this restaurant at our hotel. The brochure said they deliver and we hoped they... would deliver to us, as we were 5 miles away, but they didn't, so we picked it up. We ordered the Grandma Pizza, which was athin crust square pizza. We got the rustic flavor. It was so good! We also got a salad, which had very fresh lettuce, a generousportion of gargonzola cheese and other ingredients. It was really good, too. We would definitely go back if we were in townagain. Dave Portnoy was right! Stopped in for a couple slices for lunch. The traditional pizza is fantastic. Perfect amount of cheese... and great sauce flavor. The crust has a nice flour dust which I?m a big fan of. BONUS: for lunch you get a free drink with 2slices for $4.99. If you?re in central Jersey, you must give Maria?s a try. Read more
Today I picked up a party package from Maria's and I have to say that I couldn't have been more satisfied. Every dish was fresh... and delicious. I appreciated that it wasn't salty which is something that happens often when I order out. We had never triedtheir food or pizza and I honestly was afraid because I couldn't find any reviews online about their party package. I went toMilltown to was order a couple of trays from the business across the street and found out when I went there that they had justgone out of business, I saw Maria's and decided to give them a try as we were celebrating my daughter's bday and was having 12college kids at our house. Everyone loved everything and asked me to give them some food to take home. There was plenty so theyall left happy. This was our first, but definitely not the last time we'll order from here.
