We visited today morning after reading great reviews and seeing wonderful dine in pictures. I had high hopes since it was the... first time I was visiting our native Maharashtrian cuisine. To our disappointment, 1. there was no indoor dining 2. it waschilly and windy outside where we had to sit 3. they took a long time to prepare our small order of kothimbir wadi, veg cutletand sabudana thalipeeth 4. those who ordered after us were served before we got called 5. there was no table service and theyhanded over packed food in disposable boxes/plates 6. quantity was very little compared to price 7. thalipeeth was pretty saltyfor my husband Overall, I'd say the food was tastewise good but we didn't find value for money in terms of quantity andservice. We had to go elsewhere to finish our lunch. Read more

The food here is specific to Maharashtra, a south Indian state. Zunka, Bharli Vaangi and Bhel puri are great here. The combos... are scrumptious. The dhal was so authentic and I enjoyed it thoroughly. You also get Bhakri here which I have never seen in anyIndian restaurants. Read more

I will tell you why one star less at the end. This is a great place with vegetarian options. The outdoor system is great to... enjoy the food. If you are sitting outdoor carry water bottle (since it is self service and we didn't see any drinking watersystem). They give paper plates, cups and spoons (for outdoor). Food was great. We had Kotambri vade, Bhakri, Veg Kolhapuricurry, Schezwan Vada Paav, and Shrikhanda. The Bhakri is not authentic (obviously because it is difficult to make it foreveryone) but the taste was good. Shrikhanda met the expectations. Now I will come to the main point. One star less because wefound a tiny hair in the Vada Paav!!! Since counter was rush with people we didn't wanted to embarrass them. And it was toospicy! Read more

Nice place , tasty food. Go for Mumbai style misal, that is tastier and close to how misal should be. Vada Rassa, Sabudana... Thalipith, Paav Bhaaji are key highlights. Chaat items are okay. Read more

We have been to this restaurant when it was in a much smaller location few years ago. That location was too congested for... parking, dining everything. This new location is 10 times better than the previous one. Friendly service and great Maharashtrianfood options! The Misal I tried was tasty, spicy. I had to ask for extra farsan but there was no problem. Zunka bhakari waspretty nice too! Basundi was not as good. It was just a simple masala dudh. No dry fruits or anything. Read more

I had heard of this place and yesterday I wanted to give it a try and it definitely did not disappoint. If it is your first... time in this place or you are new to trying Indian food, I recommend you analyze its menu before going, to avoid any type ofoverwhelm or choose something with which you are not very familiar. The food doesn't look "spectacular" but the flavors arethere! Also, the first look the portions look "not enough" but they are, you will end your food feeling satisfied. Yesterday, for lunch, I had: - Veg Kolhapuri (mixed veg with spices) & Sabjhi Paratha (cauliflower, carrot, bell peppers)- Paneer Makhani(no onions no spices) & Paneer Paratha Their menu is extensive and I will definitely return to continue trying their food Read more

Not a big fan of this restaurant. I tried their Bombay Frankie with cheese, vada pav and thali. Frankie - 4/10 - it had extra... vinegar onions, which made it very uncomfortable to eat. Vada pac - 5/10 - well vada was good in taste. But they gave pavwithout even cooking it. It was raw! And they didn?t give any chutney with it. There was only one dry chutney. Thali - 2/10 -well it was not good at all. Only the dessert was edible! Read more
