Customer service was topnotch. It was our first time there and my husband was about to order an entree with no rice, good thing... the waiter noticed and recommended a plate instead. We were happy to avoid that. We love rice. Food came really quick as well.Wait time for the food was probably under 5 mins. Everyone is so attentive. Right when we got sat down, water is already served. The food was so good. Everything tasted great. We got an appetizer and we got the plate and Mee Goreng noodles for our entree. We also got the Malaysian iced tea. It was too strong for me but my hubby loves it. They were out of a lot of items we wanted totry. Maybe because we dined in late at night. Will come back on a different day and earlier time next time. But definitelyrecommend this place for some Malaysian food ???????? Read more

Have been here multiple times. Food taste here is consistent through years. Huge menu with a wide variety of Malaysian and Thai,... Indian food. We have had roti canai, roti telur, mee goreng, tom yum soup and chicken sizzlers in our latest visit. Everythingwas good except tom yum soup. Not upto the mark on this. I have had it in multiple places earlier and expected it to beyellowish and coconutty. Super fast service, as the kitchen was closing, we got everything together. Sizzlers cooled down by thetime we had our hands on that. Read more

For Father's Day I took my Dad (who is 3rd generation Malaysian), Mom (who is 2nd generation Malaysian), and youngest brother to... this Malaysian restaurant named Layang-Layang (which means Kite in Malay) and they both said the food is amazing. This is ournew favorite restaurant since our previous favorite place Golden Pineapple (formerly called Mango Island) in Fremont shut downpermanently during COVID in 2020. My Dad got his favorite: Malaysian Kari Mee (Chicken Curry Noodle Soup) And for the rest ofus we shared: Malaysian Sizzling Black Pepper Chicken Singapore Chili Prawn Char Kueh Teow Malaysian Fried Rice HokkienMee Pisang Goreng (Fried Banana) with Fried Ice Cream. Service was also great the waiter would visit us on occasion to fill ourwater if it looked low or ask us if we needed anything else. I highly recommend this place! Read more

What a treat! Layang Layang is conveniently tucked in a neighborhood filled with delightful restaurants in Milpitas. The roti... canai, Malaysian fishballs, and mango shrimp salad were delicious! Also had their chicken satay with their scrumptious peanutsauce. I (really) fell for their kang-kung belacan! I can eat this dish over and over again ???? Had to put an order of the meesiam fried noodles and another roti canai packaged ?to-go? ? a very popular venue especially with the lunch crowd. Read more

Decorations are very good. Service is excellent. Ordered Pad Thai today. It tasted a little different from the one in Thai... restaurant. Lunch special is not available on Sunday, probably also not on Saturday. Read more
