We went the Milton FL location! The reviews come short of the amazing food and service! Never have I experienced the kind of... fast service in a sit down restaurant! Dropped by for a late lunch with my wife and her mom. Wife had the shrimp tacos, I had the mullet dinner with six of the fried... shrimp, and mom had the fried catfish dinner with 6 fried shrimp. Everyone shared and we ate every bit of it. The fried shrimpwere very good. The mullet and catfish were wonderful as well. Wife said the shrimp tacos were good too. The hush puppieswere really good you could taste that everything was fresh and prepared in fresh, clean oil. Outstanding food, and the pricewas reasonable. Good value friendly, attentive service. I ate before I took a photo but captured a few fish poppers. These poppers are tiny morsels of fish, potato, curry leaves (and... some other things I forgot) which leave your tongue a little spiced but dancing in delight from all the flavors. In thebackground of the pic are hushpuppies. I rarely comment on them at restaurants b/c frankly they're usually nothing special butthese have corn onion and I believe tiny bits of tomato and they're fried perfectly! We went to test this new seafood restaurant in Milton. We ordered several items- more than we could eat. Everything we tried was... superb Mullet Basket, Shrimp and Oyster basket, Black Beans, Calamari, and the gumbo. Food was served hot in attractive settingby friendly server. The default here is a little spicy (which we loved) so if you don't like spicy sauces, beans or appetizersbe sure and tell your waitress. Plan on spending a little more than usual, but quality, taste and large servings more than makeup for any price difference. Topped the this off with an ice cold beer. These people know what they're doing. If you lovesouthern seafood the way we do, this is your place. Read more
Wow! Just wow. I was on my way to cutting board and as usual they were closed. I seen a review for fishing hole and thought I'd... try them out. I am so grateful I did. They were better than cutting board and OPEN! The customer service was top notch and thefood quality was amazing. I ordered the mullet dinner with 2 Xtra backbones. I also tried the app. Grouper bites. Everythingincluding the fries were amazing. The portion was big enough to take some home for a second meal. So happy to finally have alocal seafood restaurant that's open. Read more
