Went to this restaurant for the first time today while shopping at premium outlet malls. Stopped by to simply get a milkshake. I... was surprised to see one staff member making somebody?s sandwich with no gloves and no mask. The other staff member who washelping us with our milkshake started making it without any mask or gloves either. I asked her whether she was going to bewearing any mask given that there?s a pandemic. At first she was confused and then replied yes of course. She proceeded to puton gloves only and still no mask, she finished off our order. The whole time while preparing our food, she was talking andanswering questions, which is such a risk when handling food. So shocking that clothing places are taking much more precautionsthan this food preparing place. As a physician I was deeply shocked. Lastly, she handed us each a straw, with the same glovedhands that she touched her register with, and these straws were not wrapped. She touched them at the part that my mouth wouldgo. I asked her for sealed straws and initially she refused saying she doesn?t have any, but then produced two straws from theback that were wrapped. Really sorry to have to write such a long detailed post but given that we are in a state of a pandemic,this food place definitely needs to take more precautions. I hope management can educate their staff members about this. I lookforward to hearing about what further steps will be taken I should?ve canceled my order then and there but I did not have theheart to do that, and after paying $17 for two milkshakes, I threw them in the garbage after leaving the store.
