Used to love this establishment but recently management or ownership has made some very poor changes. They now open at 11am... instead of 10am, as well as removing some fantastic menu items and reducing the serving portions of others. For the prices theycharge, what used to be acceptable is now poor value in both product and service. Amazing staff is the only reason this is 3stars instead of 2. Very disappointed. I am not sure why I still come here at this point. There is one staff member that moves at such a glacial place that it doesn?t... even make sense how it could take 25 minutes to make ONE salad when I am the only customer in the store. The staff isincompetent and should make the food quicker instead of standing there looking at the wall. Way to over priced for how horriblethe service is. I've ordered from here twice. One time I got the buddha bowl with the almond dressing (which was really tasty) and the other... time, it was the greek bowl with avocado cilantro dressing (which I found to be slightly tart, but I could tell it was madefresh and obviously, was super nourishing). The food here is good and wholesome. It definitely tastes very healthy and fresh.And also grateful to have healthy options available locally. Read more
i used to love this place, but the portion is reduced and the price has gone up significantly at the same time. the picture is... my salad minus the tofu, 3 items kale, collard and purple cabbage with tofu at 15 dollars. as for other bad reviews havestated, the service is brutally slow.i waited 25min for them to them to put this together. it was painful watching the girlstruggle to decide what kale was, then being unsure stood there debating whether she should ask for help, then after a couple ofminutes went to ask for help and this went on for my 3 vegetables and the one dressing i picked (i cant imagine if i pickedmore), the know what they are doing gals that used to work here are all gone Read more
My wife likes this place, bowls and smoothies are good, everything is fresh. As with most health conscious/green eateries... prices are inflated (10-12$ for a smoothie). Everything is usually great here, but my review is 2 stars, not because of theprice, I understand that high quality ingredients cost money as do equipment and staffing. The issue is that where is this moneygoing? I just left after spending nearly 45$ on two bowls. It took nearly 30 minutes to receive my food, I had to makesubstitutions as they had run out of certain ingredients, all the while two highschool aged girls worked as fast as they couldbut could not keep up with the ever growing line going out the door. They apologized over and over again but it's not theirfault, the owner/manager should be held accountable for letting their employees drown without being properly prepared for whatis asked of them. I understand that this was a long weekend and that it can be hard to predict customers, but for the life ofme I don't why managers or owners don't err on the side of extra hands in times like this. Instead of people beingunderstanding, many customers were complaining to each other, and I heard one couple say that this will be the last time theyreturn. It seems that this is happening more and more often that I go in there, lots of customers, next to no staff. Longwaits, missing ingredients, high prices. I could go into more detail, but I think I've made my point. It seems this owner hasturned away from their super positive sayings on the walls, and turned to a more capitalistic (greedy) business model. Shame. Read more
I have bought Berry Deluxe after a few months. This restaurant keeps increasing prices and now has made the serving size smaller... by offering it in a smaller container (picture attached) at the same price. The quantity of topping is reduced. Disappointedboth in quality, quantity, and pricing. Value for money is diminishing after almost every 3-4 months. Disappointing. I have beena customer for many years. Read more
The atmosphere inside is very trendy. Good menu. But the smoothie bowls are inconsistent in the portions. They don?t measure the... amount so one day you could get a big portion of the fruits/smoothie itself and another you can get very little. Loved theavocado toast, very simple yet so good. I would come back to try some of their other food like soups or salad bowls instead ofthe smoothie bowls. Read more
unfortunately, the salads and smoothie bowls don't seem to be worth it anymore. the picture in this review is of the previous... smoothie bowls, you can look at other reviews for a more recent picture. for the price, it should be much better..and it used tobe my favourite spot in milton! i ordered a greek salad with chicken for ~$18 and it was the driest chicken I've ever had (maybebecause it was close to closing and their hot food was put away, but just dont offer it then). the smoothies seem to be just asgood and the staff are kind and helpful :) Read more
