I went for herbs and resist buying a tray of marigolds (cheap) and many more other flowers. Everything I looked at was very... healthy and the staff was very knowledgeable/friendly. They also gave a heads up for a chance of frost that night (my peas aresafe) thank you!!! Read more

Stopped by to grab some seedlings for my garden box. The place was small but had a great selection for very reasonable pricing.... Staff were lovely, and informative. They were sure to warn me of the frost points and advised what to do with the plants shouldthe temp get too low at night. Read more

Admission into Adventure Gardens for kids is expensive $12.99 for child of any age, $7.99 per adult. See admission costs. Plus... the cost of food. Should be $10 entry for entire family. Activities here are highly limited when compared to other farms, playplaces, etc. Lots of decor, "eye candy" for the kids (where lots of obvious effort is concentrated). Scavanger hunt, foresttrail, and train to watch are good. Although for younger kids, this gets really boring. This place needs greater hands onactivities and wide open space and equipment for physical activity. Cannot access kids restaurant if admission if not paidfirst. Came here on a week day. Climate controlled barn is good. However, not enough traffic to excite the kids. Too bad, as theconcept of pizza and play is truly attractive. Completely agree with Mary Wong's review of this place. Response to owner:Still, I believe the admission cost is completely prohibitive. Just because people are paying to get in, it doesn't mean you'vegained a repeat/loyal customer. Admin fees don't justify the value of activities for the kids comparable to other kids playplaces. Read more

Worth the drive from Toronto! My boys loved it. So much thought and effort put into every little detail. Even the pizza... when... was the last time you had pizza where the cheese stretched as long as your arm?! So good. I?m hoping to be back just to browsethe actual greenhouses and purchase some beautiful flowers. Keep up the good work Wildhagen family. Read more

Addendum to my review- I have added one star because the owner contacted me and was so kind and empathetic. It was clear that... she loves what she does and making kids happy is her priority. Given that I have been to Wildhagen at least 5 other timeswithout concern, I am chalking up my experience to a one off! I have previously been here with my twins and raved about it. Iactually contemplated buying a season pass this year for my 5 year old twins. I'm glad that I didn't. We were there today andeven though it was half price admission, I still paid $23 in the pouring rain (initially charged $28, regular price as the ladyforgot it was Tuesday...promptly I was refunded). We were the first to arrive and while the play area was neat and organized, things have changed since last year and many of the toys have seen better days. The dress up costumes, for example, look veryworn and many items are broken (e.g. strap of pretend purse). We couldn't find the puck to the air hockey table and the Fisherprice house with the Pet Spa had a loose wall and it actually caused me to topple onto my bottom. Many of the pets themselvescould use a clean and have seen better days. We couldn't find many of the accessories in the house with the Dora Kitchen. Manyof the Mr. Potato heads have been coloured on and simply could use a thorough scrub. Also several bins holding them in placewere falling off of the wall. Thankfully the plasma card are still there around the Mary's diner area. The scooters are nolonger there and the colouring centre with crayons were MIA. I did see several broken crayons scattered around with Mr. Potatoheads. Bathrooms were initially clean when we arrived. Staff was prompt when I advised him of an obvious child's accident. Iwas a little dismayed to see toys scattered outside the bathroom and left there (obviously by a child who didn't advise his/herparent). After I advised staff of the uncleanly bathroom, I saw him return the toys to their respective are Read more

Fabulous place to spend the day with your kids. Toddler friendly with so much to see and do. Plan to spend a few hours at least... but could easily be a half or full day adventure. Beautiful establishment, very clean and friendly/cheerful staff. Try thepizza. Delicious cheesy goodness with the perfect crust. Read more

Came here as part of a school trip and the activities for the kids are plenty with a mix of learning and just play. We were also... served pizza which is actually very good, authentic Italian flavour and I think they use a wood oven. Regardless we thoroughlyenjoyed the pizza! Will definitely be back. Read more
