The food here is always exceptionally good. Beer and cocktail menus are very solid and very fun. The dining room is pretty... decent. Everything is spotlessly clean. The service can be brusque and sometimes a little slow. But if you're in Bayview, don'tleave without stopping here and having some great food. A super bonus is that there is usually a very long, extraordinarilydramatic Indian movie playing on the big screen. You don't need to understand the language to understand what's going on. My husband and I went to celebrate Valentine?s Day. We had an early dinner at the Bay View location and our time there was nice... and quiet. We were obsessed with their Mango Lassi and their basket of assorted pita bread. Read more
Service in the past has been very wonderful and food has always been good. Recently they must have hired on a new staff member a... woman to be specific and she was rude and when we placed our order we asked for no rice or naan and we received our seekh kabobschopped up served over rice. We have ordered many times from them, also we know this is not how they are suppose to be. In therestaurant they come on a hot sizzling plate with no orange sauce drizzled and not chopped over rice. Very disappointed. We havebeen going here for years and ordering for years and I?m not sure if we will be going back anytime soon. To top it all off shestated a manager was not on site and if so that?s fine but she also hung up on me! Also to be clear we did not order rice ornaan because we planned to make our own. Read more
The food is very good. I usually dislike the butter chicken served in restaurants in the US. It?s sweetened for the American... palate and it hits you. The Punjabi butter chicken with bone-in recommended by the waitress Bijaya is the best I have had in theUS. The Tandoori rotis were amazing. And Bijaya is super sweet. The ambiance of this place is really nice. Service from Caucasian(she is really polite) and Indian lady is really good they ask... how was the food and is everything taste good. The food here was fresh and tasted very good. However the Malabar chicken waslittle bit salty. It was my second time coming here and i would love to comeback. Service from both ladies was 5/5 Ambiance:5/5 Food Taste: Garlic Naan 5/5 Malabar chicken 4/5 Malai kofta 4/5 (the koftas had different taste and ingredients not surewhy). Read more
