Update: I checked again and the sandwich was not charged per the response from the restaurant. I had been looking for a credit... on my statement and I was just charged less than the total. Upped a star for that. The rest of my review still stands. Also theplastic was *inside* the sandwich not on the outside. I was planning on eating it with a fork and it was mixed in with the meatin the first fork full. I want to also add I have worked customer facing positions my entire life and I'm not impressed withtheir customer service when I had a legitimate issue. I'm not someone who complains for no reason and I was super nice about itbecause I get it, stuff happens sometimes. They were very pleasant when I came to pick up the order, just not so much when I hadan issue. Original review: I've only ordered "to go". On 11/14 I got home and found a piece of plastic in my pulled pork onliterally the first fork full so obviously did not eat the sandwich. The meat is good but the sides here are really not. Icalled to request a refund for the sandwich as soon as I found the plastic (probably 30 minutes after picking it up), and wastransferred to the manager named Max who told me they usually only issue gift cards. I told him I would like a refund (becausewhy would I want to try their food again). I let him know they might want to check their pulled pork for plastic and he told methey portion it in saran wrap so that makes sense that I found plastic in the sandwich. He asked me to send a picture and hewould refund me for the sandwich. Today is the 30th and I have no response to my email nor a refund to my card. I'm annoyedthat I left a 15% tip on a pick up order that wasn't even edible and they won't refund the card. I didn't even ask for a fullrefund, just a refund for the sandwich. Food was good. I had a great NY strip steak, medium rare. Cole slaw was fantastic. Very good old fashion. However, I don't... think the price matches the food quality. I felt I was paying more for the ambience, which is fine. So not the best steak or BBQin Milwaukee, but still good. Read more

I reserved a table for Two. We were sat at our booth in a timely manner. Our server came over and offered us drinks in a timely... manner as well. Customer service was awesome. Store manager was very polite and pleasant. He stopped by our table once wereceived our food to make sure everything was great. He explained how the ribs were cooked and offered to cut mines for me! Always my go to restaurant when I want a home cooked meal fast. They have some of the best martinis. The cornbread is amazing. I... don’t care for the caesar dressing as much as i do the creamy garlic dressing. The staff is friendly and fast. Service was friendly. It took a bit long to get our order taken and delivered to our table. I'm thinking they didn't have the... staff to cover the influx of patrons. Couple of things: 1. I ordered au gratin potatoes and they delivered garlic potatoes. 2. Iordered a medium steak and it was well done. 3. It took a bit long for us to get drinks and then to get our dinner. Carson’s restaurant is a MUST stop. Not just for its delicious food, but the service by Bree and her team is top tier in... customer service. With clear adversity being short staffed every one including Bree stepped up to deliver an amazingexperience. Special shout-out to the bartender Bird drinks were top tier too! I visited Carson's for the first time today for my mother on Mother's Day. The service was superb! But, sadly our food was... not. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The lettuce was slightly wilted and the chicken was dry, old andtasteless. My mother ordered the prime rib. I know this tends to be more of a marbled cut of meat. Which should add to theoverall flavor and juiciness of the meat. Unfortunately, it was tough and tasteless. And the fat had more of a gristle effect. I had to help my mom cut the meat when using a serrated knife. The waitress was so professional and attentive that I did wanther to feel the implications of my disappointment. So, I kept my mouth shut. Why do customers have to cross their fingers andhope to get quality food that is professionally prepared when they dine at a restaurant? First time visitor. Sweetest day date.. Highly impressed. Had one issue but the manager addressed it fairly! That being said I... would recommend this place for sure. The atmosphere was nice.
