Been awhile since I ate pupusas, I can honestly say they are even better than before. The pupusas are twice the size they used... to be. I always get a side order of rice and refried black beans, absolutely amazing pairing with the pupusas. I recommend ElSalvador Restaurant to any and everyone! Read more
While we haven't yet been to El Salvador to dine in, the quality of food delivered to us has been consistently outstanding. We... have tried a variety of dishes, (my favorite being the Sopas de Res and the tamales) everything is high quality and portions arefantastic for the price you pay. Their papusas are great!! HOWEVER, I went YESTERDAY and the lady tried to steal a tip from my card from my to go order and she... would NOT give me my receipt for the LIFE OF ME! I literally had to ARGUE with her over it because it WAS a 12$ difference!!Then when I FINALLY got my receipt it was because the price of the papusas went up, okay that’s fine they should update theirmenu, but yet she still tried to steal herself an extra $5 tip which was NOT cool and tried to say it was because they tax EACHpapusa. That lady should be fired because lord knows how many people she’s doing that too and they don’t realize. Then shewants to get mad at me and treat ME like I did something wrong. Read more
Have been there several times. Papusas are fantastic. Tried the Postres with chicken today: wonderful. Service is friendly,... food is delicious. Great view of the Basilica from the windows. Excellent place! Read more

This place was one of the best places I ate while in Milwaukee. The pupusas are legit and their yucca w/chicharron platter is... awesome! Definitely recommend! You can get take out orders too which is super convenient. Read more
My friends told me to expect "Authentic Salvadoran" and I wasnt disappointed! This place is so authentic the staff doesnt even... speak English! With ultra sweet tomales, and a fantastic peppered steak, your tastebuds will be pleased you stopped in for abite. Read more
Not worth the money food wasn’t good at all !!! The fish didn’t have enough flavor.
