Wasn?t expecting much but the food was excellent, among the best Ethiopian food we have had! We shared the vegetarian meal for 3... and every dish was well done - yellow lentils, red lentils, cabbage with carrots, greens. The injera was plentiful and tasty. Will happily return. Read more

Although I would have loved to dine in and enjoy the full in-person experience, the quality of the food still came through in... the takeout meal. The combination C2, which has a variety of delicious meat and veggie dishes, provides an abundance of foodthat is well worth the value. Make sure to order extra injeera - you won't regret it! It is a long drive for us to visit Ethiopian Cottage, but it is well worth the trip. Tonight we had the Vegetarian Cottage... Sampler with lentil sambusas, and Timatim Fit Fit Salad. The mix of fragrant spices in made fresh food is just heavenly. Thefood here is always superb and the presentation is beautiful. If we lived closer we would dine here every week. Read more

WOW! Just, eat here as soon as you can. We ordered one of the Taste of the Cottage for two meals with lentil soup and the... sambusa and the tomato salad. What a delight. Their greens are so packed with flavor and the red meat was tender and perfectlycooked, the red lentils were mildly spicy with other ( not hot) spices I've never had before. Everything came wrapped in softflat bread ( ingera) that was tender with a touch of sourdough flavor. But if you eat one thing, get the chicken! They have dorowat and doro alicha. GET BOTH. Rich, velvet goodness you won't regret. Vegetarian? No problem, you will die for their cabbageand veg stew and their collards cooked with onions. Hearty and delicious! The portions match the prices, I couldn't finish mine. The sambusa were a bit underwhelming, but a nice starter. The man taking orders was lovely. I hope to dine in as soon as that ispossible. We will make sure to stop here every time we are in Milwaukee. Read more

Excellent Ethiopian restaurant with great vegetarian options. I would recommend to try the combination options they have vs the... individual options. This will give you chance to enjoy lot of variety food in one dish then ordering individually. Parking isone of the issue during pick hours so you might want to part as soon as it available and walk to restaurant then try to findclose to restaurant and then circling around. Make sure you try their bread option in started and tea. Read more
