The Gasthaus is my favorite eating place on campus. The food choice is very nice as I was looking for a restaurant that served... pub food. The meals are given out very quickly which is nice as I don't want to wait 30+ minutes for a burger as I could atother bars. The service is also good as the person at the cashier gave me a better meal than the one I had asked for since Icould've just gotten one that was a cut down version of the other. 5/5 Read more
Great place to stop in for a beer and a bite to eat between or after classes. There is plenty of seating and the TVs are... usually playing sports or popular movies. I haven't been here since graduating but if I were in the area I would stop back infor sure. Read more

Not really a whole lot to say here. It's just bar food. I do have one piece of advice. Sub tots. Always sub tots.
Fine for a quick beer as the tap selection is usually pretty good and the price is fair. Food isn't the best and I frequently... get cold tots or fries as they must just sit until they are used. Burgers taste like pre frozen not so fresh quality. If youwant to drink on campus it's your only option, otherwise I'd leave the campus area and hit up something else. Read more
Great food and affordable beer. I still live in the neighborhood after graduation and still come here from time to time. It is a... great place to watch a game or get together and study for group projects. Only drawback is that it closes really early. Read more
This is a nice place to grab a drink and a bite to eat while at UWM. I have been here a couple of times with classmates and it... is quite convenient to have something on campus like this. The environment is enjoyable but they have stuck a good balancebetween an entertainment environment and a place to gather with people to work on projects. The drink and food menus are bothbasic and good. No complaints on either and the prices are reasonable. Read more
