Had missing advertised ingredients in our meals. My friend from out of town even noted that she felt skimped on the things that... were there. When I asked for what was missing, I was told that I would need to be up-charged because it's expensive. I get it,but maybe update your menu then? I don't like to do reviews, but it was a super uncomfortable experience that made for a badstart to the day. Read more
Highlands Cafe is a great, quaint cafe on Vliet street near Wauwatosa. They have a coffee shop where you can grab a cup of... coffee and baked goods as well a cafe with delicious food. We stopped by and grabbed breakfast and the food was delicious. Wehad the eggs Benedict and the breakfast Sammie and both were phenomenal. I?d highly recommend checking it out. Enjoy local! Read more
Not great. I ordered the chorizo hash. Wasn?t very flavorful. Made me feel sick. Also was unevenly heated making me think a... microwave was used. Very pricey comparatively to other places that taste better. Not coming back. My wife ordered the biscuitsand gravy with egg whites. The egg whites were a tinge neon yellow. I don?t know what?s going on there. Waitress was very niceabout complaints. Seeing some other reviews maybe the place is hit or miss depending on the chef/day. Read more
I have been wanting to try out Highland Cafe for awhile now, and today I finally decided to stop in with my daughter after her... doctors appointment. I am so glad we stopped in. The food that we ordered was amazing and I was very pleased with the servicethat we received here at Highland Cafe located on the corner of 60th and Vliet street in Milwaukee, Wi. My daughter and I bothdecided to try their strawberry crepes and their hazelnut latte. We also ordered a side of sausage patties to share. I thinkthat I have now found our new go to cafe. We will most definitely be back. We look forward to trying other items on their menuas well. I would highly recommend checking this cafe out. I promise you won?t be disappointed! Read more
