When you walk in it's a warming feeling. The lighting is really nice and when they aren't crazy busy it can be more on the... romantic side. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The service was great, always someone coming by to grab dishes to get out ofyour way and your server is not far behind them to make sure you're good. I had the sizzling fajitas and my fiance' had a cheesequesadilla and it was all very good. The flan is good as well, their cake is mediocre at best though. The flan/chocolate cakemix dessert they have the cake is dry and mid, just stick to the flan. Overall an enjoyable experience. Read more

Ate here 8.29.22 around 1ish, had chicken fajitas and ordered the good salsa, and 1 or 5 tecates.. The place wasn't busy at all... surprisingly although it was raining. Waiter got me seated quick and a drink in my hand in no time. Got my food sizzling andsmelling good within 15 minutes and it came with rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream and tortillas. Stacked high with onions a fewbell peppers and a decent amount of chicken that was cooked pretty good. Everything tasted fresh and the servers don't let yougo thirsty or in need of anything. The price is pretty good for all I had, 35 with a nice tip is pretty nice for the quality ofservice and good authentic Mexican food. Definitely will go back next time I'm in Milwaukee Read more

One of the best Mexican restaurants I?ve been to in the Milwaukee area. Their salsa verde is superb. The shrimp Diablo is solid... and I look forward to trying more dishes here. Daughter got the salmon tostadas. The outside looks a bit plain but the interiorhas very nice ambiance. Read more

I?m not sure if we just caught them on a bad night but I wasn?t impressed. I?m not a Mexican food connoisseur and I wasn?t very... hungry to begin with. I got the since I didn?t see anything else I wanted. I?m not sure what I expected but the steak seemedlike a steak from the freezes from when the building was formerly a Western Sizzlin. I?m not sure if that?s what the buildingwas but it had that feel and the steak was cheap and not good - definitely not $35 worth. Unfortunately, I won?t be back to seeif I missing something. I will say that our waitress did warm up to us a little before we finished our meal. Read more

For those of you on a long layover, it?s well worth the walk to come here rather than eating in the terminal. The beef that was... in the chimichanga was some of the best I have had at a Mexican restaurant. The service was also excellent, and so was thesalsa! Read more

My first experience at Jalapeño Loco tonight was amazing. Jose G. was a very attentive server and never kept us waiting. The... Shrimp Gabardina was worth every penny and so delicious. The chips and salsa were so fresh and addictive. Best guacamole everand margaritas with a kick. I would recommend this place to anyone. Read more
