Love sushi and was in the area so we had to try this MUST EAT TO BELIEVE Japanese cuisine! We sat outside and enjoyed the... peacefulness of the downtown traffic and indulged in chicken fried rice and the Fantastic Melody and another "amazing"roll!!???? What an amazing experience. We came to Milwaukee to visit and tried Kawa for the first time. Service was great and super... thorough! The food was top notch. Like honestly one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the country, not an exaggeration. Ireally loved the food and the experience we had. Also glad they had parking too! Will be returning. Beautiful ambiance. Customer service was good. Waiter attentive. Food: sushi amazing. We asked for two green tea only got one. I... got the teriyaki beef steak. They didn't ask me how I wanted it done. Came out medium rare. Room temp. Sliced up in thin slices,but still big that it would had been nice to have a knife to cut. First time. Only downside....don't expect to make any special requests. If the menu says assorted fish and you can't choose, it... should say chef's choice instead. Smoky tasting Miso - not bad.
