What has happened to this place! Came here all the time. Very racist - I’m a white woman and got served before any black... couple in my area who was waiting for drinks or food order way before me. Plus who serves Patron margaritas (btw their suprememargarita) in a plastic glass. I was told by their manager Joe - who was taking off his apron - there’s a storage of glass.Ummmm every restaurant I go to in the Milwaukee area does not have that issue. Read more
Great place to eat authentic Mexican food. Portions are generous. Colorful atmosphere. They have inside and outside seating,... both featuring their own fountains. Inside seating features colorful decor and plenty of seating options big or small. Theinside can get a bit chilly. Outdoors features colorful cloth tarps and table umbrellas to shade from the sun. Largest seatingoption outside is 6 seat table. Beautiful flowers accent the area along with a few privacy walls on the flower beds. Read more
La Fuente is always a hit with my family. They have a large variety of options from single tacos or burritos, to entree... platters of enchiladas and combos too. I pretty much always get fajitas because I love their fajitas! And if you are up for anadult beverage, they do have great margaritas. Chimichangas were popular tonight. As were the shrimp fajitas. I can't believe how delicious the chicken flautas are. Every bite was filled with flavor and a welcoming crunchiness. Gosh, I'll... definitely be coming back. Also, I did notice that the staff is very efficient and friendly! Definitely a fan of this business.Highly recommend!!! Read more
7/8/22 - I ordered take out for my family and I. I ordered the Fajitas with steak and chicken. I asked the man that was taking... my order if it would be enough for 2 he said yes, it was not. They served way more bell peppers and onions than actual meat.Rice and beans where bland. The picture below is after we ate the little bit of meat that was in there. Will not be returning. Read more
After a full day of traveling back and forth and driving all over the place my husband wanted to grab some Mexican food. Quick... Google maps search and happened on La Fuente. As you can see we started eating before I could take photos. My husband reallyliked the stuffed mushrooms, they were delicious! The burrito and tacos were very good too. Neither of us could finish and hadextra to take home. Service was a tad slow, but the food was very good and made up for it. The interior was very unique and Iloved the indoor fountain. That was a very nice touch! Tables felt sticky, probably needs to be degreased. Menus smelled likebeer, felt wet. Chair had some rice on it. Read more
Very nice meal! Maria our server was so sweet and happy. I wanted to give her a hug! The place itself is nice and open. It's... possibly the most well lit and clean Mexican restaurant I've been too. I know it's cleaned well because after the table behindus left, a server wiped not only the table down but the seats down very thoroughly. It felt like the people there cared! Theywere all friendly and relaxed, and got our food quickly out to us. The food was really good. My strawberry margarita was reallygood and the refried beans were yummy as well. The chicken tacos were good and very filling, I ended up taking 1 and a half homebecause I was so filled. I'm sad because I was so full I couldn't try their fried ice cream!! Next time I will. Milwaukee's best Mexican food. Damn good chips & salsa. Staff is excellent. Will travel from near southside to eat here. Just as... good as the old Acapulco that was on 6th & National Ave. back in the day. Yum yum! Read more
