Different from what I remember but still fantastic. To think at one time back in 1974 I got so sick of eating Suburpia I said I... would never eat one again. My sister worked there and brought some home every day... Read more

Food from my teenage years. The first bite brought me back to those days when sub sandwiches were new to the area. Definitely a... wonderful sandwich. Wish there were more locations. The one nearest me closed during covid. Read more

Best sub sandwich in Milwaukee! Carryout only. Be sure to ask for napkins.

****UPDATE****9-18-2022--Had them add extra oil, extra spice & extra tuna. This was the best sub I've had there in years. Loved... it! This one truly reminded me of the years ago Supurpia I loved so much. -Went back after a while of being gone. I think itwas extra oil & spices mingled with the vinegar that brought the true flavor out. Extra tuna also. Last couple times, sub hadno oil, a very vinegary aftertaste, but other than that tasted like any other tuna sub from any other sub place. The pastcouple times they did not add the extra tuna that we were paying for. It was not like the traditional Suburpia that I grew upwith & this Suburpia on Layton came close to in the past. It was never exactly the same with spices & oil--but still close &tasty. I'm going to give it 3 stars as they did put the extra tuna on this time (that we paid for), and it wasn't bad. It isstill lacking though. I don't know what has happened over the last 6 months or so, but there are no identifiable "Suburpia"spices, so little oil that it just resembles other tuna/mayo subs everywhere. Decent tasting sub, but unfortunately, somethinghas been lost in the seasonings & oil in the last 6 months. Read more

This place is part of the gas station on one end. A friend had visited me and brought a Miles Standish(turkey & cheese) sub... from here. I liked it so much that a couple of days later I got another one! You roll down the plastic bag that the sub comesin, and enjoy it with the olive oil and spices that end up at the bottom. It's a Milwaukee taste treat! Read more

Good sandwich, but way too much oil on it. Tasted good, but super messy.

I remember when Suburbia had a brick and mortar about 76th and Florist. Seems like the only thing that has changed is the size... of the sandwich. I recall it being wider. The taste brings back memories. I hope Suburpia sticks around for a long time! Myabsolute 1st option for sandwich craving. As far as I am concerned they are the only Sub Shop. Read more
