We randomly stumbled upon this place when looking for lunch because Up-Down wasn\'t serving pizza. Thank goodness we did.\n\nI... ordered sweet with the Pancake flight (brunch on Saturdays apparently), which contained a blueberry, a s\'mores, and a pineappleupside-down cake...1 each. Of the three, somehow s\'mores was the loser (and s\'mores, mind you, was f\'ing amazing). Theblueberry was a step up from that, and pineapple upside-down cake was nirvana on a plate. While already stuffed to the seams (Igot to the pineapple last), I was still forced to cram it down my craw to ensure I didn\'t miss a morsel of it\'s beautifultaste.\n\nMy wife went savory, ordering a Bloody Mary (which for some inexplicable reason was free...because we ordered food atlunch time on a Saturday...hey we aren\'t complaining) and the loaded hash browns. The damndest thing was this, we couldn\'tfigure out which entree was better. Gravy + potato + bacon + egg = *drool*. Again, we found ourselves gorging well beyond thepoint of full. The free bloody was the best bloody we\'ve ever had served in a plastic cup...\n\nAll of this is to say that wehaven\'t touched their normal menu, but if brunch is any reflection of the overall food quality, I see a lot of door dash/futurevisits coming...\n\nUpdate: we went back to the new location inside of The Garage. Although the pancake flight is gone (supersad!), we found alternative options for brunch.\n\nI had the \"How High Chicken & Biscuit\", a chicken sandwich on a homemadebiscuit with baked parmesan cheese, bacon, an egg, and some maple sauce. It was HUGE, and amazing, and left me full with plentyto spare. It came with a side of tots which were crispy and delicious (my wife LOVED THEM).\n\nShe had the sausage wafflesticks, which were sausages wrapped in waffles covered with maple syrup and crumbled bacon. This place, The Truck Stop, is located inside the bar, The Garage, across from La Masa on Brady. If you put it in Google maps,... it will take you to the corner of Van Buren & Brady for some reason.\n\nThis place is definitely worth a stop. I wanted to trythe waffle wrapped sausage ($10) and it was delicious. Their steak taco ($4.50) is ???? especially if you likechimichurri.\n\nAlso their $6 mimosas were mostly champagne in a big glass. Read more
The MKE burger is top tier! 5/5 definitely recommend. And the fries are so good. The brisket grilled cheese was good, but... definitely needed a sauce since it was kind of dry. But the brisket on that sandwich was phenomenal. The cauliflower buffalotaco and the steak pita wasn\'t as good as everything else hence the 4 stars. Other than that I will be back. Read more
This is One MASSIVE tasty meat ???? filled egg ???? filled potato ???? filled cheese ???? filled and EVERYTHING ELSE THEY USE... FILLED ???????????????? Burrito ????! So very yummy ! And I ACTUALLY got good quality food tasty ???? and enough for lunch???????? It?s not easy starting up a restaurant and hoping people love your passion as much as the owner /chef does . Iencourage this specific Owner to keep going ! Everything here was wonderful! I would strongly recommend anything from the menu here. The brisket here is very good. The... waitstaff here was very nice and the inside has plenty of seating and is comfortable and in a good spot with bars close by. I?msure I?ll be back here in the future to try out some more of the food here! Read more
I came across PigTailz at a food truck festival and I was hooked. I followed their truck all around the city. I hated that I... was not able to enjoy their food during colder months.\n\nI was so excited when they opened a restaurant!\n\nThe food here isabsolutely delicious! I have never been disappointed with anything I have eaten from The Truck Stop.\n\nThe portions are niceand always the same. The steak tacos with extra chimichurri sauce is my favorite with the braised pork tacos coming in as mysecond favorite.\n\nMy daughter loves the Buffalo cauliflower tacos.\n\nMy husband always gets D.T.E nachos.\n\nThe food is veryflavorful and I have not tasted food like this anywhere else.\n\nOn their Facebook page their share specials and limiteddishes.\n\nTip: Call ahead so your food is ready when you get there! First meal we had in Milwaukee and the only reason we had it was because both Thai restaurants we wanted to eat at were... closed.\n\nProbably the only time I will say I\'m happy we didn\'t have Thai because the food here is insanely delicious. The Brisket Burger from the ROLLMKE truck was phenomenal! The burger was juicy and the brisket was extremely tender and... flavorful. The Garlic Aoili on the toasted Brioche bun is what sold me on ordering this from the menu. I didn\'t get thepickled onions, they just aren\'t my style. The side of chive fries were extremely generous and the entire meal was wellworth the cost of $$.
