Great service and beer selection.
This is practically our summer home. We're there for the first tap of the season and we're there to close it down for the fall.... We're there almost at all points in between. Why? There's a feel to the place that's just friendly and welcoming. A beergarden. Why did we ever do away with them. So glad to see them making such a comeback now. The Humboldt Garden is nice because,while it's operated by St. Francis Brewery, they feature rotating taps of local craft brews. Because of this you can experiencea ton of variety over a season. The staff is friendly and laid back, the people are (mostly) great to hang around. A lot offamilies frequent the garden as it's easy to let the kids play in the park while you enjoy a drink. The food offerings could bea little better, they used to be tremendous, but took a bit of a dip in quality last year. I'm eager to see what's offered thisseason and look forward to many more! We went to the beer garden for the tap takeover and it was the perfect blend of great craft beer and food. The nachos with beer... cheese and the pretzel were both delicious and geneticist portions. The staff were among the nicest people we met in Milwaukeeand were helpful in recommending places to see while in town. Read more
Awesome beer garden. Staff was friendly and the environment was really fun. There is a playground right around the corner within... sight for the kids to play. Dog friendly and you couldn't ask for a better place to have a beer and relax. Nice clean park.Chill on the hill offers free local music/movies etc.. Nice space with lots of tables and pet friendly. They offer discounts for glass refills on beverages. However, the name... indicates they have Wine and they did not have even one option on the menu. As for food, certainly suggest to bring your own! They only have Empandas that were more than half sold out and no other options. Read more
