We had a party of five and were picking somewhere with a good variety to satisfy the varied tastes among my family. We lost... someone recently and was looking for an easy, laid back experience to enjoy each other's company and some good comfort food. Ihad the country fried steak which was cooked just right. The mac 'n cheese was the good kind (not the kind that tasted like itwas out of a box). Fries were real crisp. I also had a strawberry waffle sundae which was exactly as you'd expect. I've always like Huddle House. They usually have great coffee and a nice variety of breakfast goodies. We had a large party but... were able to pull some tables together and get seated quickly. The restaurant looks quite old inside. It is definitely in needof a refresh and a deep cleaning. Our young waitress took great care of us. I ordered the country fried steak breakfast but mydaughter ordered the country fried steak dinner so she could get mashed potatoes. We both enjoyed it. I will probably be backbut Huddle House isn't a place I just seek out on a regular basis. Read more
The best breakfast. Came with low or no expectations and I got so surprised! So tasty and cooked exactly how we wanted it. When our tire got shredded on the highway and my family and I were stranded they took amazing care of us. One of the waitress's... husband went and fixed it for me and she kept me so calm because I was absolutely panicked. They made sure my son was well fed.That entire breakfast shift were absolute angels and a big blessing. I'm definitely gonna stop on my way back to texas and blessthem as much as possible. Read more
