We stopped in while traveling. We are BBQ "snobs" and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We both got the Ol' Tater with chopped... brisket. It gets an A+ from us!!! And so did the "free" beans. The restaurant was nicely decorated with a rustic theme, andimpeccably clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. We will definitely stop here again the next time we come throughMinden! Read more

Good food. My first visit,and last. I asked lady working there if they bring drink with my order and she chewed me out.
I had the sliced beef with green beans and corn on the cob.....nothing was spectacular.... The free pinto beans was the best... thing about it.. The only thing I can say is the sliced beef wasn't fatty so that's a plus.....it could have been smokedlonger......serving size was ok....kids behind the counter were being just that, kids. Love that this place has free pinto beans. Had a bit of turkey and brisket slices. Corn on cob was cooked juicy and delicious.... Green beans were from a can. Not bad but OK. The table sauce is a spicy more than sweet BBQ sauce. Really liked that. Turkey wasjuicy as well as brisket and great flavor. My son loved the ribs. Ol West BBQ has some good food. The service is fast, and the prices not bad. Decor of the restaurant is pretty cool, and it's... very clean. Enjoyed my visit and would suggest it to anybody that wanted some good BBQ and sides. Read more
