We ordered 5 different menus and steamed rice. The food was so delicious even we had late lunch at Ski Resort. The atmosphere... was warm and nice. The sever was friendly. The young Chinese lady was kind also. The little boy who was playing by himself. Hewas so cute! My kids were happy to be near with him. Thank you! Read more

I have a love for cheep asian cuisine that is insatiable! Louie's is a great example of why. They have great food and decent... prices. The atmosphere is nice and it is clean. Must tries: Egg Drop Soup, Cashew Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and the OrangeChicken. I suggest getting the lunch specials as they are around $9 and are a good sized serving. Read more
Totally blown away with the high quality and taste of the food I ordered at Louie's. This was my first visit to their Chinese... restaurant, and I can't be happier I decided to finally stop and try them out. I had the Appetizer sampler which included CreamCheese wontons, egg roll and coconut shrimp. THE BEST coconut shrimp I have ever tried and they included a nice coconut dippingsauce that I have never seen offered anywhere else. For lunch, I ordered Sesame Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork. Two totallyDIFFERENT flavors - something most Chinese restaurants fail to deliver on. Usually, the different dishes taste the same but arenamed something different. Louie's delivered two TOTALLY distinct dishes. The Sweet and Sour Pork, which most restaurantsusually use the cheaper cuts/pieces of pork that includes hunks of gristle or fat or are breaded so thickly all you ever tasteis the breading, NOT Louie's! It was so tender I could cut it with my fork. And the serving and busing staff were friendly,attentive and competent. This will be a definite stop each time I visit Minden/Gardnerville and the yen for Chinese food hitsme. Read more
