My wedding was last Saturday and I use the Cinders in Mine Hill to have the reception and I couldn’t have choose better!! The... food was just the best everyone was impressed how good was, all the staff was really friendly and helpful for the whole night,the place is incredible beautiful and cozy and working with John was just amazing he helped in everything to make the night thebest of our life!!! Came here for the first time since they remodeled some of the store into a shop. Inside design and decor is still welcoming and... clean. Great service by staff, professional and timely. Food portion was huge for a chicken and pasta dish, wine prices werereasonable. Would recommend. Read more
Great place if you like being ignored. They sat us at a table by the window where 3 flies were obsessed with whatever schmutz... was on the window. Place was half empty. Took over 15 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge us. Took our order anddisappeared. We saw our drinks sitting on the bar for another 20 minutes. She eventually stood next to them face on hand,elbow on bar complaining to another member of staff how overwhelmed she was with I don't know both tables. We got up and left. I will preface my review by saying I’ve dined/hosted events at Cinders at least a handful of times. So when I needed to host... an event today, I had no doubt in choosing cinders. In all honesty, I am very disappointed in our experience. I expressed ourconcerns mid-party to the party planner, Jeanine, who was understanding and apologetic. All of the food was cold, including thecoffee. There was no menu provided to the guests and the server was unable to give descriptions of the food so that also causedissues amongst the guests. Also, when two of the guests asked for more salad dressing - they were given maple syrup. At checkout, we dealt with presumably the owner/manager, who was very rude and dismissive. He handed the bill, didn’t ask how theevent was and when we voiced our concerns to him, he said “I’ve already heard about your complains. What do you want me todo?” Not for nothing, I sympathize with the fact that the world is short staffed and I don’t like having to complain buttodays experience was less than ideal and the gentleman we dealt with had VERY poor service recovery. $1.00 raw bar Oysters are the best! So clean and grit free. My favorite place for a filet mignon, their lump crab is delicious.... Their whipped mashed potatoes are easily the best I've ever had. Their mini cheesecakes are unreal! Their scallops over spinach,I added the side of mash on a cheat day - and I was blown away! Their grilled octopus is amazing, their cauliflower au gratin isamazing - and an excellent choice with a Filet mignon and asparagus for a Keto meal! Their Figgy Piggy is amazing - literallyeverything I have ever had here I've been amazed about. Despite everything being that good - their lobster rolls come 2 in anorder, and they were the best I've ever had - EVER! Been to Mass, Connecticut, Maine, all over the coast - nobody makes thembetter. So buttery, the bread is a toasted soft buttery roll and the meat is tail, and claw - so sweet, buttery and tender - andpiled high! I hit up every seafood place around - best hands down. Unfortunately understaffed like most places. Fortunately we weren't in a rush. I have a dairy allergy and I could eat a full... meal except dessert which was probably for the best even though they looked amazing. My well done filet mignon was cooked welland not charcoal. Our first opportunity to dine at Cinders. Service was great, food was plentiful and delicious at a reasonable cost. Very much... enjoyed and host was very accommodating to our needs.
