Love it I had the four piece chicken fillets with gravy and fried Okra and roll. Also comes with a drink. The chicken was the... original they also have spicy chicken. It was very good. Mineola had two chicken stores and they where not very good and theyare now gone. Sure hope this stays you should give it a try and see what you think. Read more
(Updated from original review of 2 stars at new location) We visited on July20 and the drive thru was a wait... but friendly and... our order was correct this time. Since they moved and changed the fryer grease it just isn't as flavorful. Not that it's bad at all, just doesn't have the kick... it used to. New place is something you WOULD take a family to eat at. Old place, no. Prices like everything else have gone upsome, I try to go there when there is a small line in the drive through so the food will be hot. Read more
If negative stars was an options that's what this place would have received. If you want to spend nearly a $100 and receive... horrible service along with cold food you've come to the correct place. Carol thank you for letting me know that you no longerwanted a patron as myself to dine with you. And let's not forget the laughs were you definitely let me know my money wasn'twelcomed. So, where do I begin? my family ordered $95.00 worth of food from this establishment because we had a bunch of family in town... and wanted something fast and fresh. We waited patiently for our order because we knew it was large and we wanted it donecorrectly. Well, all the patience in the world meant nothing because not only was the order completely wrong but the food wasice cold! I have never had cold fried okra before and I do not recommend it at all. When I say everything was cold, I mean justthat! Chicken, chicken strips, okra, jalapeño poppers, fries, mashed potatoes, ALL COLD! I mean they didn?t even try to hidethe fact that this chicken had been sitting there all day. I thought we could rectify the situation by calling the store but noone answered and we had already made it back to our gathering. Since we got no answer, I decided to back to the restaurant thenext day to speak to the owner, Carol. I explained the situation to her at which point she asked me what I would like for her todo. I asked her what she thought she could do within reason to which she answered? nothing! Why would you ask me what I?d liketo see happen when you had zero intention of fixing the situation? Her approach was unprofessional and rude from the start butthat statement put the nail in the coffin. Please don?t waste your money at a place that couldn?t care less about qualityservice or food quality for that matter. That food could have made us sick because there?s no telling how long it was justsitting around their store. We weren?t looking for anything for free, we just wanted hot food and friendly service. This is good food? they struggle with keeping good employees? lines are super long. Great Tea and Tenders? always ask for... Napkins or utilities, they never automatically put them in the bag..always double check bf leaving. It?s better to be safe Read more
Very friendly staff. Helpful with different options----original or spicy. I wasn't sure which one to order so she offered me... some samples of the spicy seasoning. We had heard about the rolls and we were not disappointed. Read more
Extremely disappointed. We?ve eaten here several times and it?s always been good. However we just waited in a line for nearly 40... minutes and when we finally got home with our food stuff was missing from our order. Sat at the window for 5 minutes and couldsee our food sitting there before anyone even came to the window before taking our payment. Will not be returning. Read more
