Best waakye I had in Minneapolis. Went down for an appointment and the waakye was fantastic
The classic okra soup and egusi soup were a tragedy. The pounded yam was runny like mashed potatoes. Not solid enough to eat... with my hands. The soups were oddly sweet and drenched with clover seasoning or all spice. I taste almost no pepper. There?s apeculiar mushiness to everything I tasted. Too much palm oil. Just tragic. Did not taste like anything I?ve eaten in Africa oranything I?ve eaten made by African people. Also the presentation was close but all in all a FAILURE. So sad I wasted money heretrying to enjoy my favorite meals. Read more
