I use to really like Al Vento and specifically the Sunday Buffet. This Easter Sunday was not what I remember from Al Vento. ... The selection was much more limited than I it use to be. They got rid of their pancakes, smoked salmon, and several varietiesof eggs. That in and of itself would not result in a poor review. The issue was in the stocking of their buffet. Ourreservation was for 10:15AM so the buffet was not near the end of the standard brunch window. Several times when we went upthey were out of eggs, pasta, and doughnuts. This left us with sausage and potatoes along with desserts and fruits. I reallyenjoyed the food that they had but after 3 futile attempts to try and get one egg or some pasta. We called it quits. Therestaurant is located in a lovely location and serves great food when it’s present but I will not be going back to theirbuffet any time. I would have preferred a brunch that was NOT all you can eat. That way I may have gotten to try some reallygood dishes. Read more
We went last Friday for the first time expecting a great dinner and got the complete opposite. We had dinner reservations for... 7:45pm for a party of 4 and were seated right away. Ordered a round of drinks for 2 of us and split a bottle of wine between theother 2 people. The drinks were brought back and we ordered 2 appetizers and our dinner. The appetizers came out pretty quick.No one ever came back around to see if we wanted another round of drinks. Over 45 minutes went by before we seen the waitressagain who then brought out 2 of the main dishes which were cold. I asked mine to be reheated because I didn't want to eat coldclams and hard noodles and my sister chose to eat hers cold because she was so hungry. The other 2 dishes were hot. We did notget 1 of items that we ordered which the waitress later brought out and did not charge us for. It was a single meatball. Therewere people seated after us who got their main dishes before us. Overall it was a terrible experience from the food to theservice. Read more

Italian food and the scene at this location is excellent. I like it here, great food & service. The service here is attentive.
