Food is amazing. However I do not recommend take out. This is the second time I've been disappointed. First time my uptown salad... had no lettuce or shrimp,this time there is no lettuce-odd for a salad! I also ordered Thai fried rice and didn't get anycucumber or tomatoes which is one of the things I love a bout the rice,chicken is also dry & extremely over cooked. I used to love amazing Thailand but recently the food flavor and quality has gone down. I suspect their food quality has become... a victim of skimp-flation and they've been making cutbacks but I'd rather pay more for quality food than save money on somethingthat doesn't taste good. My preference would’ve been to have expressed my concern via the restaurant website, however there was no contact form or... email published on the website in order to email management. Myself and a friend had dinner last night at Amazing Thailand. Wesat at the enclosed outdoor patio across the restaurant kitchen door. There were mice scampering throughout the patio. I spentthe majority of the hour+ shooing away the mice so that we could eat. We showed a couple of the servers what was happening, withconcern that the mice could enter the restaurant kitchen. The servers were very kind and friendly, yet didn’t know how toaddress the matter. It didn’t appear that a manager was available at that moment. My friend and I spent $80 on our dinner.This was one of my worst dining experiences. Read more
I should first preface that Tai food is not something I frequent, but the few times I have it was great. Amazing Thailand is... great. I ordered pick up so can only comment on the food. The Tom Kha soup was a little different than what I’ve had at otherThai establishments. Regardless it’s pretty hardy with the amount of veggies and the coconut milk was just the right amount ofsweet. I also had the Pineapple Fried Rice and added shrimp. The flavors here compliment each other and are balanced sowell…from the traditional fried rice ingredients to the raisins and pineapple. Kinda wish there was bit more pineapple, butwas still amazing. The shrimp was good size and cooked perfectly! I ordered the spice level at 2x but should have gone higher.Not much of a kick at 2. Whoever was cooking … EXCELLENT!! I would say the prices seem a little on the high side, butonce you see the portion size it’s definitely shareable or can be made into more than one meal. The vibe is pretty cool and the food is amazing! Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. Ordered the beef egg rolls,... Pad Thai and the Red Curry with beef. Those egg rolls are huge and have so much flavor. The Pad Thai was so good but the RedCurry was the best! I ordered 5 on the spicy level and it was perfect. The broth was sweet from the coconut milk and spicy. Thevegetables were cooked perfectly and the beef was tender. This is probably one of my top 3 Thai places in Minneapolis. I am afan. Read more
Amazing! Cool decor, chill vibes, friendly servers. Food is the greatest quality. Anytime in Mpls you gotta hit this place... up. They lost a star because the restaurant owners decided to add a 15% fee that wasn't announced until the payment time. Iunderstand that workers need more money which is why we tipped on top of that fee, but in general I feel that the owners shouldabsorb this cost and pay their workers more, not add a sneaky charge at the end. It's the richest Thai food I have ever eaten.The employees are always very friendly and helpful, a bit limited due to the... protocols being followed due to covid-19 which is understandable. Portions are large so be sure to go very hungry to finish itall or be prepared to order a box to go. I highly recommend this place. Read more
This place is amazing!!! The food was delicious. We had a party room for a family dinner and the staff and waitress were... caring,loving,upbeat!! The manager Krystal was so beautiful and helpful and. I will always come back because they were great Iappreciate great food and service. P.S. the music was on point too.
