A comfy, unique, but bustling cafe/bar & eatery nestled in a quaint neighborhood with substantial indoor and outdoor... seating. Their alcoholic choices seemed popular with others, but I had an iced latte which was delicious. As was my entree,which was pulled chicken & some delicious sides prepared in a Latin American food-truck style. The price to portion could?vebeen better, but the food tasted fresh and pretty filling! Cafe Racer is a favorite of ours. The food is amazing and the prices are good. The staff is kind and low-key. Their patio is... somewhat unique; they have a really lovely landscaped surround with tables under tall shade trees. It's like a slightly secretgarden, where you're just hidden from the street. This place is an absolute gem! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my personal favorites are the braised pulled... pork, arepa criolla, yuca frita, and sweet plantains. The cilantro aioli sauce is extremely addictive so it's not a bad idea toadd a half pint of it if you are getting a large order. Read more
Wow. This place is amazing! We ordered a whole bunch of vegan stuff and it was all so delicious. The flavors are excellent;... everything is clearly made with love, attention to detail, and quality ingredients. The service was genuine and friendly,outside seating was perfect, and our fam of three loved everything! Cafe Racer does a lot of good for the community too.
