Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was a bit slow.

Darbar catered the Grooms Dinner for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. The food was delivered hot together with the... chaffing dishes to keep it warm. The owner of the restaurant delivered it himself and helped set up. The food was delicious andthe spice level was exactly as requested for a group of guests that included some with little or no exposure to Indian food. Itwas also excellent value for money. Read more

Customer service is fine. Nothing out of the extraordinary. Chicken Tikka Masala is adequate. It does taste good but it’s not... the best I have had. Garlic naan is missing some type of flavor and it comes burnt on the top. Gorkha Palace in my opinion hasbetter naan. It’s a spacious area. When eating in the evening an hour before close: Be a little weary as they’re quitestrict when they close. In fact, you feel rushed to pay for your food and the people come out and tell you they’re closedright at 10:00pm. Which it makes sense because they do close at 10:00, however, it disrupts the customer experience. When I goto Gorkha Palace they never rush you and at times we would stay 30 minutes past closing. It just feels like at Darbar they’rerushing you out so they can close right at 10:00pm. If that’s the case, give your customers a warning that you’ll close in30 minutes. Read more

Warning: mandatory 18% charge for " gratuity " added to your check. Good service, good food, clean dining room. Moderate prices.... Spicy level is none or medium/very spicy. Their medium spicey is low heat. Read more

Darbar has really amazing Indian food. The food looked great and was cooked perfectly. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants... in the twin cities. Definitely going back. Read more

Authentic. Flavorful. Delicious! We were looking for somewhere to stop on our way through Minneapolis on a road trip and their... menu immediately cause my mouth to water. Had Samosas, Garlic Naan, and Aloo Gobi. Hubby had the Chicken Korma. Everything wasabsolutely delish! ...So Delicious in fact that on our way back home we made sure we timed it right to come back for a secondlunch helping. I had to repeat the Samosas and Garlic Naan. Followed with Lamb Vindaloo. Hubby had the Chicken Korma and Makani.Everything was incredible. Just like the authentic home-cooked meals that our Tamil friends cook for us. ???? Read more

This place has a great potential to do better. It already have good customer service and consistent taste. Here are a few things... they need to improve, again, these are small changes that can completely change the experience here: 1. Better silverware, plates, serving dishes. The silverware here looks like the cheapest from Walmart. It honestly do not go along with the locationof this restaurant. It’s not a big investment honestly. 2. Decoration: Sometimes simplicity is best. The decorations they had3 years ago including the lentils and beans in a glass container in the shelves and cheap pearls in a glass bowl with waterstains and no water on the tables etc needs to go. By no means this is affecting the DELICIOUS food they have but it’lldefinitely affecting the experience this place could provide. I visit this restaurant every now and then and enjoy the foodevery single time. They do have parking in the back, just make sure to ask the server to validate the parking. Enjoy! Read more
