Just a cool spot with great food. I picked up some books from Moon Palace Books next door and sat on the patio, read, and... enjoyed a great meal. Read more

My partner kept asking to try this place out. I was resistant for a while because we have tried quite a few spots and still... hadn?t had any pizza we really loved since moving here. My search is over cause geek loves pizza is quality. Easy andtransparent online ordering, tried the cauliflower and beet special pie? Can?t remember the name but it was so so good. Qualitydough, everything was done so well. Reminds us of our favorite pizza spots back home. Can?t wait to keep coming back to try themall! Read more

An excellent spot inside a very cozy bookstore. Some of the best pizza in town as well as some very nice sweets. If you're... popping in for monthly trivia, be sure to get in early, the place fills up fast! Read more

I'm not sure the value is there for what they charge. Got the almanac for the dead and it was tasty in the middle, but for 18... bucks there needs to be more toppings and not 50% bare crust. Updated +1: Gave them another try and got a large this time. Still more crust than I normally like but dipped it in olive oil for added goodness. I didn't realize tax was included also, sowhile still in expensive pizza territory, it's not extravagant compared to black sheep for example. Read more

A super cute queer friendly place for lunch. The salads are great and so was the tap kombucha. Not very many seats so I could... see how on a Friday or Saturday it would get full. Read more

Another stop on the coffee passport tour, we ventured out of our usual south Minneapolis coffee shops over to Geek Love. Being a... gorgeous summer day, my fiancé and I decided to bike over. We were surprised to find that the lot next to it was the MidtownFarmer?s Market. You walk in to a small bookstore with a wide array of modern titles on current events and hot topics. Theyalso have a lot of great gifts for your literary loving, LGTBQ+ supporting friends and family. The cafe has a nice array ofcoffee and alcoholic beverages and apparently specialize in sourdough pizzas - which we?ll certainly have to come back and try.If the Farmer?s Market wasn?t going on we would have grabbed a snack because the pastries looked delightful. They also have aback theater for trivia, live music, etc. at night. So basically there?s never a bad time to go to Geek Love. Their support forthe non-binary isn?t just on some of the many cute pins they sell, but truly a mission they fully stand by and support. From theemployees on staff to the vendors and entertainment available at the Farmer?s Market, the sense of inclusion and acceptance isoverwhelming. They have clearly left an impact on the community as the bike shop down the road also includes preferred pronounson their name tags. Read more

Fabulously Fabulous! I had the Hungry Mind Breakfast Skillet and I was fully nourished. I was still feeling the positive effects... as I strolled the galleries of the MIA and took in the "Underwater Egypt" show. The Geek Love Cafe is the perfect start to anyday. I shall return often. Be sure to stop in to the attached Moon Palace Books for a visit. These two businesses are trulyLocal Gems. Read more
