Put an order in online for delivery a few months ago got a confirmation and never received our food. Went there and it was... closed. Today we tried to put an order in again and when I called to confirm no one answered the phone when we did receive orfood we were missing 3 of the meals. Read more
I've never been so disheartened with a restaurant. We used to love you guys. I knew better than to order online, but I was going... to call to make sure the order came through. Based on the hours on the website 1030-1030, I called at 11 and was told call backat noon since they don't open until noon on Wednesday. After calling at noon, I was hung up on. I tried again and went tovoicemail. I now don't have lunch and don't even have time to get from somewhere else. Last time ordering from Hop Wong ever.Good luck. Read more
This food was terrible. I order TSO general chicken and received Tao general breading. Virtually no chicken at all. What a rip... off. This place should be ashamed to service the public. Don’t waste your time on a meal here. Read more
I have eaten at Hop Wong two times and have had to log back in and remove two stars given and re-do my review as I tried hop... wong for the 2nd time and it was worse than last time so I won't be going back. First time I went I got veggie fried rice,which was mushy on the outside and hard on the inside in many bites, like it was leftover. The broccoli however in my fried ricewas bright green and super fresh so the 2nd time around I thought I would try the garlic broccoli, how can I go wrong thereright? No. I just got home with my broccoli garlic and this broccoli is so over cooked that the florets are a soft mush and thebroccoli has a rank taste. So hop wong cant even manage to serve me a broccoli dish that is any good. They will even ruinstraight up broccoli. This stuff is super mushy likes its already been cooked and left over or something. It's basically nasty.I was excited to try this place because the location is convenient but they take advantage of the customer's pocketbook byserving gross food so no thanks. Oh by the way, the broccoli is peppered with bites of dirt or sand, so it has been served to mewithout being properly washed. Also both times I have been there my order is taken by an angry little girl who seems reallyangry to be working in such a dangerous location. She also looks like she is at a questionable age to be made to work like thatat such a unsafe place. Since the last time I was there a few days ago the windows have both been smashed in. The dumplings were soggy. The rib tips had no meat on them. Just bones. I called about them and was told that, that's how them... come. I got a refund for the rib tips. French fries were undercooked, soggy, and oily. I requested soy sauce, but none was inthe bag. I have been going to this restaurant for awhile, and this has been the third time they have messed up my order. I willnot be going back. I spent $36 on my order, but not for service or good food. Something has changed at Hop Wong, and it's fantastic. I'd call them a solid 3 star in the past, but now 5 stars. First off, we... were over the moon when we could upgrade to fried rice instead of wasting white rice and having to buy a separate fried riceorder. The shrimp were the largest I've ever seen in a combo fried rice, and all the meat was large enough to identify. Forentrees, we ordered the Happy Family and garlic spicy shrimp. I love that the main vegetables were not onions, there was plentyof broccoli, celery, carrots, even peas, and both were very tasty. I loved that the shrimp was spicy, but very flavorful. I hateit when places think hot is a flavor. We will definitely be eating here more often. Read more
Love the food, always tears great! Although the young girl who I believe is the daughter of the owners needs could be more... professional and not be on her phone while I'm ordering. And h we r customer service skills could use some work too. Read more
