We've ordered from Karta Thai dozens of times. Thai Beef Jerky and Sticky Rice (10/10) and if you haven't tried the Golden Karta... Special - it's addicting. However, our last order had plastic bits in our food. We think it came from the green sauce that wepoured over everything. Needless to say we had to throw everything out. This was an online order through Grubhub, so theypromptly refunded out money, however we were not able to reach the restaurant and notify them of the issue. Bottom line, betterquality control. I've ordered food from here two or three times before and it's been at least 10 minutes every time. Ordered today and went to... pick it up and they don't have the order. Their "tablet is broken so orders aren't printing out." So anyone ordering isn't goingto get their food and the restaurant isn't doing anything about their broken system. Maybe disable that ordering option?ChowNow, the service that sends their orders says that there's nothing they can do to fix it. They say I can put my order in (anhour after my original order) and "come back when it's ready." I'm only offered a refund when I decline waiting longer forsomething I ordered an hour ago. The red curry was very good, full of flavor and lots of vegetables. The spring rolls we're good enough. Not the best I've... had. Most importantly, people need to know that this is not an actual restaurant. This is a group of kitchens that makes foodspecifically for takeout by services like Doordash and GrubHub. Do not be fooled by the dine-in label on Google. There are noservers, nothing to drink, and no plates or silverware. It is literally just a waiting room with tables and a stack of napkins. Read more
Ordered for the first time tonight because it was close to my place and I?m always on the lookout for a new Thai restaurant.... THIS IS MY NEW SPOT! Their curries are amazing- good flavor and stuffed with veggies and protein (I ordered tofu and I lovedit). I also ordered the chicken wings, cream cheese wontons, and pineapple fried rice and I loved all three. This place isbetter than Amazing Thailand which was my staple before this. You can?t beat the price either, this was $15-25 cheaper for samething from Amazing Thailand. Keep it up!! Read more
