Placed order through BiteSquad for 12pm lunch. Checked status and they did not accept by 11:20am. Contacted BiteSquad and they... called restaurant and I called. They repeatedly hung up, saying the owner was not there, we can't see the order on BiteSquad,but they don't know how to do a phone order with a credit card. They refused to tell us they can't make the order. Waste of timeand completely irresponsible! Just say you can't make it. Don't play games! Read more

We visited La Colonia restaurant for the first time today, and we loved it! It was close to the Strike Theater, where we were... seeing a show. We visited on a Friday, around 6:00, and it wasn't super busy. My husband and I ordered a plate to share, as wellas an appetizer. We first got the Empanadas de Carne, which were amazing! It came with a wonderful, spicy sauce! The texture wasperfect, and they were served hot! We split an entree, the Lomito Saltado. Wow! Wow! Wow! It was so good! A great combination ofingredients and flavors! It entered our Clean Plate Club! The staff was super friendly and kind. We will visit again with familyand friends!! Read more

Delicious food and nice service! We started with the soup of the day which was a hearty chicken vegetable. Also enjoyed... empanadas and then the main attraction: Bandeja Paisa. The presentation and flavors were wonderful. Generous portions too. Read more
The food was good and had good flavor. But who ever cooked the chicharron definitely needs a little more practice I would rather... throw it and use as a boomerang or a dog treat. I would definitely come back though to try a few other dishes. Read more
