Really friendly service, probably one of the best Indian restaurants in the twin cities. I ordered a spicy fish curry and it was... appropriately spiced, not too much and neither too little. If you like spicy Indian food, this is one of the best placed to goto in the twin cities. The prices were affordable and really worth the quality of the meals they provided.. As someone who isused to Indian food, this comes really close to home. Read more

Great food with great service. We had the shrimp Molly, goat buriyani, yogurt curry, and little samosas. All was delicious. ... We came for lunch on a Tuesday and had no wait and the food came out in a reasonable time. The buriyani was our favorite and itwas some of the best I?ve had. Although I have never been to SW India. Food was excellent! There are only a few folks who work there (server and kitchen included) and everything is made on the spot... from scratch so be prepared for a wait, but it is worth it. It's also a quirky intimate space so make sure you get there when itopens at 5:30. The portions are huge so consider splitting one with your companions. My husband and I both went home over-fullwith left-overs and very pleased with our meal. Read more

4 years in the Twin Cities and a visit to this place was always like a plane made to sit on the runway but never took off.... Finally it did, yesterday. The place was like a ?hole in the wall? and wasn?t too big. You can hardly have more than 3 peoplemove around at the same time. The tables were limited and would have had a long wait time if we had gone on a busier time. Wewere meeting some friends and since one of them was from Kerala and the rest of us were all from Southern India, we decided totake on this place for a dinner. The host was very too friendly and though an American, seemed more knowledgeable about thedishes and fluent spelling them in a native way too. We were served a jug full of hot water on request, before we beganordering. The orders didn?t take a longer time to be served. Me and my wife had paalappam with potato stew and More curry with aside of rice while others had chicken and egg curries. The spice level wasn?t ?Indian? hot though we had requested specificallyto be that. Nevertheless, the food tasted pretty well, the quantity was sizable and wasn?t too expensive. Read more

If you are searching for authentic food from Kerala, (SW India), look no further. The Chef cooks from his heart and the result... is evident on the plate, and your palate ;) Food is spicy and authentic, and a refreshing change from the sea of Tandoori styledrestaurants that clutter the scene. Everything is made to order, so give yourselves some time and order a cup of Chai while youwait. Read more

I took too long to finally try this restaurant. I am so glad that I did. I enjoyed the goat biriyani, mini samosa (so cute), and... the chai tea. All were made to order with care and quality in mind. This is a slow food experience that is worth the wait. Theportions are generous, would be a nice place to share a few dishes with friends. It is a little restaurant, with 3 tables for 6and some 2-seater tables. I like that the menu is conscious of different dietary needs and choices, including things like animalproducts, gluten, and nuts. This is also a place where you come for the food, not the service experience, practice patience andkindness and you will be rewarded. Read more
