Man I fracking love this place! Since being back in MN it’s been a great place to get fantastic local brews and delicious... smoked meats. They have some plates and bowls with all the normal fair that are a great edition to the standard BBQ experience.Their patio is legit and dog friendly. Read more

Ordered the Mushrooms & Swiss burger with a side of fries... It was delicious. The bun and beef patty ratio was perfect,... everything was seasoned well.. It was overall a delicious burger. My partner ordered the Fried Chicken sandwich, it was good, but not as good as my burger. If I'm ever craving a Mushroom & Swiss burger, I'm definitely coming back here again. Read more

Busy, but not unexpected for a Saturday early evening. Got there just in time to snag a table on the patio. Parking is on the... street, but was easy to find a spot fairly nearby. Great atmosphere and service. The beers I had were all good and food wasexcellent. Everyone enjoyed all the food - poutine, wild rice burger, trout bowl and BBQ Chicken Bowl. Will be back! Read more

The patio is dope. I loved the food and beer/drinks were really good too. They seem like they are eco friendly and i saw them... water the plants with the extra water on the table. I would definitely support them again. Read more

Came here yesterday for lunch and the food was excellent! The waiter was very helpful and friendly. For appetizers we got the... sweet and spicy wings which were really delicious ! For the main course my partner and I got the fish and chips and the baconBBQ burger. The fish tasted extremely fresh and the size of the fish was a pretty decent size. The BBQ burger was extremelydelicious as well. The beer selection was also pretty impressive. I got the Millions of Peaches and Them Apples. Great place andsuper affordable! I would definitely return. Read more

Came in for a late lunch and got seated right away. We order a flight of beers and the Grape Sour ale. Enjoyed all of the... drinks and would like to try some of their cocktails another time. For food we ordered apps to share. The brisket burnt endswere top notch, the poutine, was very very good and the cajun dry rub wings. The wings were excellent, lots of flavor, notspicy, just smokey enough. My only minor complaint is $16 for 8 wings, but hey that's the state of the economy, so what can youdo. Service was excellent and everyone was friendly. The interior is nice, clean bathrooms, they have high chairs for thekiddos and all of that good stuff. Parking was street parking so may have to park further away during busy times. Read more

2021 post-renovation update: I gave Northbound a hands down 5 last year - such consistent food and wait times. I should mention... that my husband and I have only ordered food to go since the pandemic so both reviews are purely on takeout. We have tried stuffall over the menu including sandwiches and salads. We were excited to try their new menu items - I got the BBQ Chicken Bowl andhe got the BBQ Platter. Opening up the food when we got home we were SO disappointed with the portion sizes. Had it been a"lunch" item for $10 it would have been appropriate but for $16 each, it was a major bummer. Perhaps it is just the new menuitems which were tasty, but super small. We will order the old menu items and report back if they are smaller as well, butcurrently I wouldn't spend the $37 after tax & tip for these two items specifically. Fingers crossed they haven't changed theacross all menu items!! Read more

Came here during dinner time. They usually get busy around 6:30. There was outdoor and indoor seating. It was first come first... serve no reservations. We ordered the beer cheese soup, poutine, and mushroom burger. Their food was very delicious and thestaffs were amazing. If you come during their happy hour beers are $3.50 for “house beer.” I would recommend getting theirsalad for side item then their kettle chips. The salad and the dressing was good! For parking there were some street parkingavailable but you may need to walk a block or two. Overall, delicious food and great selection of beers. Read more
