Reviews for Ono Hawaiian Plates in Minneapolis, MN

This is one of my go-to dinner spots in the north loop at the galley! I usually get the regular Katsu plate but the tuna poke is... also really good. Katsu curry is okay - there is a little too much curry for my taste / it’s more of a heavy meal, but ifyou’re starving, that might be a better choice. The Mac salad is my favorite side here - it’s SO good and I usually get anextra side of it to take home and eat later for next day lunch. Service is great - super quick and efficient and the prices aresolid for the large portions that you get. Read more

Pretty decent food with fair pricing. Out of what we ordered, my favorite was the poke. Not on the same level - in terms of... flavor) as what I got in Hawaii. Read more

I love this place. The katsu and BBQ chicken combo comes with rice and a scoop of Mac salad which is super creamy and delicious.... It's enough to feed two people at a very affordable price. I always look forward to exploring their menu. All their sauces arereally good, my personal favorite is the soy honey mustard. Read more

It's not often that you're served food that looks EXACTLY as pictured online, but with Onos, you get what you see. We got there... early on a Saturday and the food was served fast. The pork and the teriyaki chicken stood out to us-- the katsu was well madebut nothing special I thought the Mac salad was a little bland, but the sauces saved the day with spectacular flavor. Theservings are generous for the price point; it would be easy for 2 to share a meal. Cool venue and worth a visit; it definitelymade me nostalgic for another trip to Hawaii. Read more

What a wonderful surprise to find this restaurant in North Loop! I’ve wanted to find some great Hawaiian food in the area for... a long time, and they went above and beyond! Had some amazing loco moco (with spam, because obviously) and the mac salad andkalua pork was delicious! Before I finished my meal I was already thinking about the next time I could come back! Highlyrecommended!!! Read more

Took me right back to my childhood with the katsu Loco Moco! That flavor on the breaded chicken plus OMG on that pasta salad... was so GOOD!!! Something initially I didn't like about the gravey but in the end the meal was filling and most importantlysatisfying with every bite. Worth another trip or two or three! ???? ps. The spam sushi also surprisingly good ???? ???? ???? Read more
